I took a deep breath and dried off, feeling refreshed and renewed. I stood in front of the mirror in my room, examining my hair as the water from the shower cascaded down my body. The black dye I had applied just a few days ago had washed away, leaving my hair its natural dark brown color. Though the color might not take anymore. This color is new.”
