He paused, looking at the mercenary’s body on the ground.
He stripped the tactical jacket and pants off the dead man, pulling them on over his naked, muddy body. They were too small in the shoulders and too short in the legs, but they covered him. He found a heavy vest in the backseat and slipped it on, looking more like a mercenary than a Prince now.
He hotwired the ignition in seconds, and the engine roared to life, a throaty V8 growl that cut through the sound of the storm.
"Hold him still," Kai barked from the front seat, slamming the car into gear. "If the arrow head shifts, it could sever an artery. Keep his head elevated."
