No, it was far too soon for him to have summoned help and for it to be already here, though I knew he did once have a chopper; he kept boasting about it. Could this be one of the buyers arriving early? Hang on, was that guy leaning out at a dangerous angle armed? I ducked instinctively which made it extremely awkward to run. “Nobody move!” he yelled. “This is a raid sanctioned by the Werewolf Council of Canada.”

"You aren't taking me back alive!" Rachel shouted. Just then Rachel transforms into her wolf. Jared does the same. They fight and he rips her throat out. Brady stands watching it all. Dax realizes that Brady just witnessed their secret. "Brady?" Dax asked. "What the actual fuck??" Brady demanded. "I can explain." Dax replied. "Yeah, ok." Brady scoffed. "We're all werewolves." I thought the pack dinner was here in Chicago." "Change of plans. My parents can't leave their territory right now, so we're going to them." The lie tastes bitter in my mouth, but the truth is Luna discovered that the curse's effects might be stronger around other werewolves, and she thinks my parents, both former Alphas, might be able to help us understand what's happening to Mariah.

Surrounding the table were several antique chairs, their upholstery worn but well-maintained. On one side of the chamber, a massive tapestry hung from the wall. It depicted a majestic werewolf standing tall under a full moon, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Scenes of battles, rituals, and gatherings were woven into the fabric, illustrating the rich history of the werewolf lineage.

That shows how good the relationship is between the Cadieux clan and werewolves. On the other side, Adam was swarmed with guests around him.
