MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

We were just people who refused to break in the dark. I looked out over the vast, beautiful expanse of the Scrapyard. The moss was blooming with bright blue flowers. The wind carried the scent of growing things. The future stretched out before us, a blank page waiting for our ink. The garden belonged to us. And we were going to make it beautiful. _________________The End________________

Scarred By The Moon

Scarred By The Moon

For me. The scene claws at my chest, sharp and bitter. I turn away and step outside, needing to breathe, needing to escape the image of him tangled in someone else’s arms. The garden offers a sliver of peace as I sink into a wooden bench tucked beneath a flowering tree, the air fragrant and quiet. “You're still perturbed?” Edith's voice breaks through the fog of my emotions. I hadn't even noticed her approach. “Yes,” I admit softly, my voice brittle. “I can't shake the feeling that Moonridge is involved. There's something... deeper. Even though we won the game, this doesn’t feel like victory.”

No Scars Can Dull Her Shine

No Scars Can Dull Her Shine

" The only sound left in the room was the steady ticking of the machines. I turned away and carefully put the irises into the vase by Mom's bed. He stood up slowly, quietly. "Remember to put ointment on your knee when you get home. It's scraped." The door closed softly behind him. I thought I heard a muffled sob. However, maybe it was just my imagination. Back home, my daughter gently put ointment on my knee. I patted her head, turned on the computer, and started writing a new post. Title: [About Camila and the Road I Took.] She should have known I would not let it go if she exposed me.

Scarred Under Moonlight

Scarred Under Moonlight

“Every day, I will prove it. No excuses, no regrets. Just… love. Always love.” As night fell, a soft silver haze blanketed the garden. The moon rose, its light stronger than the stars, casting pale shadows across the fountains and walkways. Aria paused, sensing the familiar presence of the Moon Goddess. She lifted her eyes to the moonlit sky, feeling the whisper of energy threading through the night.

My Scars Are Seeds of Glory

My Scars Are Seeds of Glory

Michele's voice pulled me back to reality. "If she hadn't left all those years ago, the woman at my side would be a gambler. How could it be an angel like you? Tomorrow is our 99th day together, and I'm putting the most profitable strip club in Vallasia under your name." Michele looked at Barbara with complete indulgence and pinched her cheek playfully. Barbara laughed softly and leaned in to kiss him. A sudden, stabbing pain tore through my side, forcing a sharp gasp from me. It was the scar I had carried for five years, left behind when I sold a kidney just to stay alive after I failed to repay my loan.

Keep Scratching My Car, I'll Keep Leveling Up

Keep Scratching My Car, I'll Keep Leveling Up

5 million dollars. Jim was sentenced to three years in prison for obstruction of justice. The rest of those involved also got the punishment they deserved. Another month passed, and my pink Corolla finally came back from the repair shop. The scratches on the hood had been repainted, making it look as good as new. The cracked window had been replaced, and the punctured tires had been patched up. It was still the same modest little car, just much cleaner now. Inside the car hung the very first ornament I had bought when I started my business, a faded little bear. I started the engine and slowly drove out of the underground parking lot.

Entangled with the Billionaire

Entangled with the Billionaire

he pulled her along until they walked into the rose garden. From afar, Scarlett could tell it was pretty. It was spring season, and all the flowers were blooming, but nothing prepared her for the beauty that hit her square in the face when she walked into the garden. It was a really large garden, with beautiful red rose flowers that looked like they had been tended to with so much care and love. She gasped, her hands went to cover her mouth. “It is beautiful.”

Scarred Luna

Scarred Luna

Xander was in no way like Alpha Lucas, so why? A sigh slid past my lips as I slouched a bit. Water drops fell onto my bare back immediately and I jumped. I'd totally forgotten where I was and I found myself smiling a bit. A small smile made it's way to my lips as I stared ahead. The beautiful view of a variety of flowers caught my eyes, alongside the wonderful fragrance of each one wafting into my nostrils. I always loved coming to the garden because it helped clear my mind of every anxiety whatsoever. And with the streaks the sun made as it slowly descended back into his hiding spot for the night, it made the whole garden look like a fairytale captured on a canvas.

Scars

Scars

They know how desperate the situation is, and the only priority is getting Amelie back safe. I rush down to the first floor, but I can't find her scent. I know he put her in a car, but I thought I would still be able to smell her. "Alpha over here." I rush over to Tyson. After he mind-links me, he's looking at tire tracks. "They are fresh. You can still smell the burnt rubber. The width of the tire, I would say they are in an SUV." I look out the exit of the parking garage. I know she's out there not too far; I need to find her. I head for the exit. "Alpha, wait, we don't know anything yet." Marcus mind-links me.

Loved this story and I love me some Gideon! Super strong female that doesn’t take garbage behavior lying down nor does she excuse repugnant behavior because of a mate bond. If you love well written plots with characters you love, hate and love to hate, a touch of smut and some cute twins, read this!

This has been very intriguing to say the least. The writing style changes frequently in all the best ways. Jessica is able to illustrate very lively imagery at times, move the story quickly at others, and use a vernacular in ways that do not ultimately detract the reader from the story. I want more!

Silent Scars

Silent Scars

Joyce hugged her with a smile. Lauren and Bryan entered the car amidst goodbyes from the duo. The driver took off and just as the car drove out of the compound, they both returned to their former cold relationship before they came. It made Lauren wish they never had to leave. She leaned on the window, gazing out through the window. Please take care of Malcolm… Joyce’s words rang in her ear. She didn’t know how but for the old woman’s sake, she had this conviction to try. Speaking of how. Her eyes suddenly caught something through the window.
