The elevator doors slid open, and the low, heavy rumble of a dozen idling security vehicles filled the concrete basement.
My head of security, Jackson, was already waiting at the bumper of my sedan car, holding a tablet and speaking rapidly into an earpiece. The moment he saw me, he stepped forward, his face completely grim.
“It’s a circus out there, sir,” Jackson said, turning the screen toward me.
“The photos leaked on a major tabloid site ten minutes ago. Someone inside the Castellano building leaked the security footage of Marcus being carried out in handcuffs. The press is calling it a billionaire love triangle brawl.”
