Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

At the sight of Prudence’s shock, Carol smiled and said, “They’ve been keeping me in a cellar. I couldn’t tell time there.” Prudence handed Carol her phone. “21, October 20xx.” “It’s been three months?” Plenty of things had happened over the past three months… “May I use your phone for a bit?” Carol asked. Prudence thought that Carol wanted to contact her family and friends. “Sure. Just use it.” She then walked out of the tent. The first thing Carol did was go online and search for Titus’s name. The first news that popped up was him holding a grand wedding in Northvale and marrying a woman named Cara. A bitter smile rose on her lips.

"You haven't read this, have you? Because I know Robert would have told you not to, you don’t want to offend him." Carol shook her head. "Of course. I wouldn't dream of betraying his trust, so I didn’t read it, but we can read it together now, what is in the envelope anyway?" She inquired, resting a hand against Emily’s shoulder. Emily grabbed her hand, removed it from her shoulder, and began pushing her towards the door. Carol struggled against her, saying a lot of things that went over Emily’s head as she pushed her out of the room and slammed the door shut in her face.

"The book looks appealing to the eyes until you touch it." Amelia's eyes widened in horror and she quickly stepped back. She remained like that as she was too afraid to touch anything. "Why do you have such a dangerous book in your library?" She asked Cara. "I don't know, it belongs to Alphaeus and I've never bothered to ask him why he has such a book," Cara said nonchalantly. 'Tsk,' Amelia hissed under her breath. Cara returned holding a gigantic book and she found Amelia still rooted to her spot.

The same job that betrayed and cut her life short. However, she said that an old book inside the library where she worked, offered her hope. Carol brought me the book but I was astounded by what was consider her hope. A hunter who knew they hunted creatures of the night was finding hope from a werewolf ritual that seems forgotten. Carol excused herself to tend to Alexis which I had to go anyway but I promised I would return. While that was true I also borrowed the book because I wanted to finish what she couldn't.
