Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

“You looked like the world was ending.” “It felt like it.” My hands moved down his chest, exploring. “Your turn.” He kissed my forehead, then my temple. “I almost quit last year. Burned out. The quiet gets heavy sometimes. But then this girl kept showing up, asking smart questions about old manuscripts. Made the days better.” “Me?” I asked, smiling. “You.” His lips found mine again. This kiss had heat behind it. His tongue brushed mine, and I melted into him. My back hit the bookshelf gently. A few books shifted but didn’t fall.

She shrugs, and her lips purses into a thin line. 'Okay, fine. Should we order another?' I heard her sigh and she leans back against the sofa. 'No, it's all good.' Caroline is more of a foodie than she admits. I burst into laughter when she made a sad face and she nudges me, her lips twitching before she bursts out laughing. 'The weekend is here and the weather is really nice tonight...maybe we can go to the club?' I mutter. Her lips purses in a thin line, and then she sucks on her lower lip...something I notice she tends to do often.

I clenched my hands together unconsciously. Her blonde hair was loose, she looks like a fucking princess, no, she looks like Regina George herself along with Karen and her other brunette friend. And Thomas, he looks like the typical guy who would be with a plastic like her. And me, well, I look like the bookworm as she had put it. ㅡBitch... ㅡCarolina muttered under her breath. ㅡHow about we go skating, Anne? Carolina refuses. ㅡsaid Kenzie. Kara went over to the store where they put on skates and picked out a pair, Thomas helped her put them on.

Then, her brother started driving the car over the cast and then smashed it into Yemon. Seeing her children getting along, Kara's lips turned sincere. Only after that did her attention turn to Susan who was sitting in the chair. "What happened, Mom?" "That's because Louis was trying to save me," Emily said with furrowed eyebrows and round eyes. "Emily was looking for books at the bottom. Suddenly, I saw the books on the top shelf fall," Louis continued. "Those books are very thick. My head would definitely hurt if they fell on them." Emily hugged Yemon tighter.

Side by side, Christina and I strolled through the gallery, taking in the vibrant artwork. Christina's love and knack for art were off the charts. She had a way of uncovering the hidden tales in each piece from angles no one else seemed to see. "Erick, check out this painting." She gestured towards an oil painting named 'Nirvana', her eyes alight with excitement. "It's a phoenix rising from the ashes, feathers scorched but eyes blazing with hope and strength for what's ahead. It reminds me of you." Her words caught me off guard, and I turned to her.
