Bogus Billionaire

Bogus Billionaire

As she watched Sean leave, she felt her heart clench in pain. On the second floor, Marietta held the manuscript of the novel Kirk had translated. She kept looking at it without saying a single word. Caroline waited a long while before realizing that Marietta was lost in thought. She walked over and touched Marietta's hand curiously. "What's wrong, Aunt Mary?" Marietta returned to her senses. "Oh, I'm fine. The story you wrote just reminded me of some things from the past." The story Caroline had written was a very simple love story. Although the story occurred in Celona, it was easily accessible and inclusive.

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

The Carrero Heart (series book 2)

Nate is also unusually quiet, now the lull in conversation has happened on the long flight; he is watching my girl unusually intensely though and probably planning his seduction if I know him. Since meeting the Carrero men Jenny has been giggling and blushing a lot, although a heck of a lot more since Nate sat down. She isn’t immune to them the way I am and has just fallen victim, like every other female in New York, to that old Carrero charm, and good genes. Sadly, also to that wolf-like skill Nate has of entrapping innocent souls. I try not to glare at him.

Billion Dollar Illusion

Billion Dollar Illusion

Very Carrie. Carrie tosses her bag onto the armchair. “Okay, tell me everything again.” She doesn't even slow down. I drop onto the couch. “You already know everything.” “I know the outline.” She disappears into the kitchen and returns with two cans of soda. “I need details. I need billionaire lore. I need to know what kind of face a man has to have before women start making life-altering decisions over breakfast.” I snatch the soda from her hand. “You’re insane.”

Mistress on My Husband's Phone

Mistress on My Husband's Phone

Or perhaps deep resentment? Carrie's thoughts drifted back to an event eleven years ago when she was a young university student in Australia. A charming man then had captured her heart. They became close, but one night, something happened that she had never wanted. Since that night, Carrie had refused to see or be near him again. Yet here they were, unexpectedly reunited. The sound of a car engine stopping in front of her house snapped Carrie out of her reverie. Dressed in a long black sleeveless dress, she rose from the sofa and stepped outside. After opening the door, she walked towards the sleek black SUV parked in front of her gate.

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

But she wasn't unattractive. She was different. Lovely in the kind of way that made you do a double take. Carrie wore a baggy gray sweater and beat-up jeans. No heels. No heavy makeup. No plastic smile. She looked around nervously. "Hi. I'm, uh. Carrie. Carrie Wilson." I blinked at her. And blinked again. There was something beautifully. real about her. "You live alone?" I hurled the question out. She gave a startled look. "Um. Yes. Just me and my parrot, Maurice."

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

The Calling

The Calling

The Calling Chapter 1 I am walking down the cliffy road, it’s dark out with only the street lamp to illuminate my path. I am slightly cold and very irritated at my current situation. I had gotten to my car only to discover the battery dead. Obviously the car would not start, could not even unlock the bloody door via car remote.

A Night With The Billionaire Musician

A Night With The Billionaire Musician

Carrie just nodded in my direction when she steered the steering wheel, put the car on drive again. *** “Cassiel, what a lovely name he has,” Carrie said dryly as she helped herself to a huge piece of beef capriccio and pushed it into her mouth like she was famished and it was the end of the world. “What kind of a name is that?” Carrie and I drove around to the Rockefeller Centre and watched one of those old, conspiracy theory movies about a flawed submarine which was left in the Atlantic to defect and the Americans tried to grab it. The movie was so uninteresting that we fell asleep somewhere in the middle. We both liked watching movies from the '80s because we were weird like that.

Fall in love inside a novel!

Fall in love inside a novel!

She instructed her best friend and rushed to the bathroom. "What's this?" Tasha found something on her desk. she picked up the booklet and turned the pages, "A new novel?" she exclaimed. "Wait!" Arielle shouted from the bathroom, she had the habit to write it down instead of typing her stories, she used her gift to write 2-3 chapters of her new novel last night before going to bed. She rushed out with the toothbrush still on her hand. "Give that to me." "Nope. You're writing a new novel? A romance novel at that?" Tasha ran around the room reading the notes.

Flying high

Zay asked crying. " I don't know, I find her at the end of the stairs unconscious and blood everywhere," I said opening the car door and placing Scarlett in the back seat. "Let me hold her omer, you go and drive the car" Lilly offered but I refused saying " No, I will hold her, and one of you drive the car". Eli took keys from my hand and started the car. Zay is in the passenger seat. Lilly sat beside me. I am holding Scarlett tight in my arms in the fear of losing her. Seeing her unconscious and bloody making me tighten my hold on her.

Billionaire's Remorse: My CEO Ex-husband Wants Me Back

Billionaire's Remorse: My CEO Ex-husband Wants Me Back

SHANE The next morning, I was sitting on the sofa with the Financial Times magazine open across my lap, halfway through an article on market trends when I heard the faint sound of heels, not the kind she wore to meetings, but the soft clack of something lighter, casual. I glanced up just as Carrie stepped into the living room. She was dressed simply; jeans, a cream sweater, her hair was loose around her shoulders, making her look so radiant. “You going out?” I asked, folding the edge of the newspaper without looking away from her.
