Reckless Hearts
It’s something I never realised how much I missed out on as a child, and when Zion and I have kids, I want them to never feel alone; I want them to know how it feels to have a huge family, to be around loved ones all the time.
“Yeah, almost done,” I say as I look at my hair in the mirror. It’s been loosely braided from the top and pinned back; little pearls and flowers are scattered in my hair. I’m wearing a lace top with a chiffon fabric skirt. It’s the most bridal I could do without feeling restricted. The top reveals a bit of my stomach and sits right below Zion’s mark that adorns my neck.
“You look beautiful,” Zaia compliments as she adjusts a curl.
