"I hope you aren't trying to flirt with my mate, because I wouldn't hesitate to kick your ass," I growl to him through the mind link. He just throws a smug look my way and returns to his talk with my mate. "So, Miss Tammy." "Tammy," she corrects him.

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

I was proud. "Damn." He heaved a big sigh. "And you're taking turns with her AND Beth. Is there no justice in the world?" "About that. We don't take turns. It's a big bed." The man had a punch like a sledge-hammer. Even in jest. "Damn it! Son, I'm a fan." I tried hard not to rub the ache in my shoulder. "Tell me about this Eric guy," he said. "He's a great guy. One of seven brothers, his brother Joe is my best friend. I've played softball with the Howards for about two years. He and his brother Bill are in carpentry."

Carter watched with disgust as Eric celebrated his win by taking a huge bite out of the raw, bloody steak, chewing like an animal. Eric seemed to realize Carter was staring at him and grinned. “Do you want some?” Carter made a face and shook his head, “No, thank you. I don’t ant to get food poisoning, Eric. You have fun though.” Then he set his controller down and watched the other man’s hands, waiting for the perfect moment of distraction that never seemed to come. He’d been trying to get those keys out of Eric’s pocket for the past two hours and had absolutely nothing to show for it.

How did you get in here?” he asked as he stood up but Eric refused giving an inch of smile; Mr. Sodiq also noticed the young man was quite relaxed and didn’t look like he was in a hurry with legs crossed and a spear in his hand lying from one arm of the chair to the other “Eric Kane” he said and stood up

The man said to him . " Okay . . " Eric answers seriously. " Ehemmm... owh .... Mr Eric .... what is it Mr Eric ." The fat man on the line ask . " Are you stupid or you pretend to be stupid ." Eric answers with his cold and stern voice that make not only the men that stand infront him shivers even the young men , Key key and Danielle felt the coldness. " Well , sir , we had been paid . We must take her or the man will make us pay ." The fat man said gently .

' Eric says through our mind link 'I know what he's doing man relax. I'm not going to kill him now. I'll make him beg and grovel for me to kill him later' I reply to Eric while smiling at Cyrus "Oh, I can see you've not changed a bit. You're still a very mean motherfucker that you were years ago... And a coward too, I see. I don't understand– how can you call yourself a Gamma chief when you and four of your men were taken down by two of mine!? How pathetic!" I say.

In his quest to reconnect with Lana, Eric decided to whisk her away to a quaint barbecue joint. Lana was taken aback by the unconventional choice. She playfully remarked, "So, you're a fan of the more laid-back spots too?" With a casual swipe, Eric cleaned the slightly greasy table and chairs using a napkin. He then graciously offered Lana the freshly cleaned chair, accompanied by a warm smile. "I'm not too high-end, am I? Did you have some misconceptions about me?" he teased.
