Tears drop down my eyes without control as I stare at the wooden stake. “ Yo…You can heal. ” I stutter, forcing my hand to grab the stake. “ I can. ” He assures. “ Z—Zero… ” I let out, my hold tightening over the stake. Our eyes meet. His eyes remain black, never switching color or letting the shadows take over him. “ Are you…are you alright? ” He asks, the pain finally displayed behind the black globes. I nod, tears leaking out of my open eyes. His lips curve slightly and then, he is down. His eyes close, and his head slumps.

Vireya's POV Eventually, the storm of chaos died down. The whirlwind of dust settled into silence, and I dared to open my eyes. He was staring at me. Not with the eyes I’d known before, but with something far more terrifying, his eyes blazed. Not metaphorically blazed. Flames danced in them, alive and cruel, licking at the edges of his pupils like he’d been set alight from within. “I underestimated you,” he said, chuckling darkly.

The cracks became enormous. Now they stretched from one side of the horizon to the other. The world seemed smaller beneath them. Then Something appeared. A single eye. Far beyond the sky. It was black. Not dark. Not shadowed. Black. As though someone had cut a hole through existence itself. The eye blinked. The stars nearest it vanished. Gone. Simply… gone. The dragons recoiled. The dead Dragon Kings stepped backward. Even the Sleepless One screamed. “NO!” The black eye turned.

Carlos laughed as he removed his eye patch. Black mist poured out from his dark and hollow eye, like the gates of hell.

Carissa gave Mateo a heavy kick that made him fly like a broken kite with cut off strings. She then turned her head to look at the two executioners coming at her and smirked. The two was stunned by what they saw. One of Carissa’s eyes was still red while the other had turned green. However, that wasn’t what shocked them most. What shocked them the most was the third black eye on her forehead. They were frozen on their spot when they look at her black eye. They look as if they were petrified. Death flashed by their eyes at the same time Carissa slides her steel claw towards their necks. Blood splattered on the ground as Carissa caught both of their falling heads in her hands.

As she flickers her eyes, Blackie stared at her. "Blackie, come back," The order is sent, but Blackie doesn't return. Elaina feels a warmth near her. The hot breathing of Blackie is fanning her. She snapped open her eyes. Her eyes met with the emerald eyes of Blackie. The very moment, she screams loudly, "AAaaaahhhhhhh....." So, Blackie jumps out of bed. It senses that she is scared of her. It didn't intend to scare her. It sets in its signature cat style and looks for its boss's order. A familiar figure appears as Blackie disappears. Elaina's gaze lands on the man.

"Kill me and let's get this over with." He stays silent and keeps looking me deep in the eye with so much hate and anger. Never has he ever looked at me this way. It's so strange, but that's not the only strange thing about his eyes. They look different and that's when I notice his eyes aren't the way they used to be, they're black, like Sean's. No, not like Sean's. They're completely black, every part of his eye. What is this? What is going on? I look away from him to Sean and see it's the same thing, black. Every other person is far away, and I can't possibly see their eyes in the dark, but something is not right. Something's definitely off. What could it be? What's going on?

Her big golden eyes turn looking at me directly, and for the first time I notice that her eyes look as though they are swirls of golden lava moving. “Is everything ok? Your looking at me funny” I laugh “Sorry, your eyes they almost look as though the colour is swirls moving” She blushes once again, looking down at her hands “It’s from my fathers bloodline, Blackstorm that's why our eyes look as though its a storm with the swirls” I can’t help but smile at her, I could listen to her all day; Focus Darnick for goodness sake.

“How are you going to make up for the damage, huh?” The more I stare at him, the more my heart begins to melt. He is big, fluffy and completely adorable. He had thick black and white far and piercing grey eyes. For some weird reason they reminded me of Rowan and Noah’s grey eyes.

So focused on watching my feet on the ground, that I didn't see him step from behind the tree. I caught the sleek boots and long length of black leather clad pants leading up to the shirtless torso. And my eyes landed fearfully on his dark face. Black hair curled over his brow. Slashing black brows made his features seem even more intense over those strange dark gray-blue eyes. Eyes which so quickly turned black flecked with yellow when his beast was beginning to surface.
