Cassian Acotar Novels & Stories

Yes, like a rabbit animal. “Mmmm, Calista, you need to own up to your actions. This house has certain rules you have to follow. If you weren't someone we were keeping to obtain something important to us, we would have gouged your eyes out for watching.” Santino’s voice drops to a serious tone and I shiver. In a way, I find him more dangerous than his brother, especially the fact that he always seems to calm his nerves down as if he is worried any moment he will explode and wreak havoc

And this was all because of Cassian Ravencroft. Cassian Ravencroft was one of the most famous names in New York. He was the sole heir to the Ravencroft business empire, a family that handled almost everything in the E-world, from gaming companies to the development of social media apps. After his father, Cassian was the one handling the entire empire, despite his young age. With black hair and striking red eyes, he was not only a powerful business tycoon but also one of the most handsome men in the business world. There was probably no one who didn’t know him. But the side of him that I knew I didn’t think anyone else knew about.

In the center of the room, standing before a massive, wall-sized map of the city, was Cassian. He turned as we entered, and for a split second, I saw a flicker of genuine shock on his face. He had believed himself untouchable in his fortress. Then, the shock was gone, replaced by a slow, reptilian smile. He showed no fear, only a kind of perverse, theatrical amusement. “Brother,” he said, his voice calm, almost welcoming, as my men quickly and brutally neutralized his technicians. “I was wondering when you’d finally arrive. Did you enjoy the scenic route?”

I rolled my eyes and leaned back against the chair. “Fine. Cassian is an Alpha from Nocturne City. He's the son of George Vale's former rival, and he's currently married to Celeste Roosevelt.” There was silence on the other end. I continued telling him the general things I knew about Cassian, from his relationship with me to his family and everything surrounding our failed marriage. Elias listened without interrupting once. When I finally stopped talking, he sighed. “That's all?” My brows pulled together. “What do you mean?”

“Out of all the buyers in the world. Him?” Cassian took another step, voice lower now. “I’m not here to fight. I’m here to make an offer.” I turned. Finally. He looked older than the last time I had seen him. Taller. Gray eyes. Dark hair. Arrogant plump lips. Crisp suit. Too fucking beautiful for the demon he was. My stomach dipped with nausea. Because all I could see was bruises. Years of it. The time he slammed my head into my high school locker and called it an accident.

"You're... the AI?" Seeing my dumbfounded look, his chest rumbled with a low chuckle. Undisguised indulgence rippled in his dark eyes. He nodded frankly. Then, he held out his right hand. A black onyx pinky ring rested on his long finger. A symbol of absolute power. "Let's officially meet, Aria." His tone was casual, but it carried the crushing weight of an apex predator. "Cassius. Cassius Castellano." Castellano.

The sight of Cassian being blasted backward shocked everyone once again. Representatives from every faction stood frozen with their mouths hanging open, their faces filled with disbelief and growing fear. Cassian was the Lowery family's appointed heir, a divine-realm expert who possessed the Overlord Physique bloodline. Among the ancient martial families, he was regarded as a top prodigy. Despite having all those advantages, Ashton had still sent him flying with a single punch. Earlier, Cassian had stood like a white-robed war god and declared that he would crush Ashton and grind him into dust. But now, the result had slapped him across the face and left the Lowery family and all of Cassian'

"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. Your daughter keeps doing crazy things even when I'm the true Luna. I have been waiting for this poor thing of yours to leave him for me!"

Beside her, Jace’s voice was a low growl in her ear. “Found something. The payment trail loops through three shells, but there’s a signature I’ve seen before. Old school. Brutal.” Elena’s breath stilled. “Who?” Static crackled a second before he said it. “Cassian Vargo.” The name hit her like a strike to the gut. Elena sat back, the chair creaking under her, pulse pounding. “No. That’s...” “Yeah,” Jace cut in, grim. “That Cassian. Roman’s monster. The one he can’t be in the same room with without the walls bleeding.”

“We argued… Leone and I. He left and drove off without waiting. Not quite long, the rain started. I couldn’t stay at the bar. It was too dark, too dangerous. I had no choice but to walk.” He leaned back, his jaw tightening. Silence hung for a moment before he spoke again. “I see. So he left you alone.” I nodded. He didn’t press further. Instead, he gave a small smile, though it didn’t reach his eyes. “My name is Cassian. I don't know if I introduced myself the last time we met, and I am the palace healer.” I managed a small nod. “I know who you are.” He stood up suddenly. “You’ll sleep in my room tonight. It’s warmer there.”
