After a while, she hears the sound of a text message notification on her phone. The name on its screen she sees makes her heart skip a beat. DM: Morning, baby girl. Slept well? Cassie reads the message and her fingers rapidly tap on the screen. Yes, daddy. You?… Before sending it, she changes her mind and deletes the magical word to prevent it losing value.

Cassie told the girls goodnight and went to join the guys up on the deck. "There you are," Nathan said as Cassie approached them. "Sorry I took so long I found out something interesting from Janice."
