The thunder had barely faded from the mountains when Kael stood at the edge of the ravine, his boots digging into the rain-soaked earth. The clouds overhead churned with the remnants of the storm, casting eerie shadows across the land like long, reaching fingers. “Exactly what I needed today.” The tallest man stepped up to the driver’s side window and tapped the glass with something metallic, maybe a weapon? Or something worse. I clicked my tongue and tilted my head. As soon as my maid left the room, the silence in my room was disrupted by the sudden change of weather. A thunder was apparent amongst the large, dark clouds. I miss her so much and wish all of these hadn't happen. That evil witch killed my Luna and made me marry her and now her brother sees me as a delivery man.
