[ Celeste ] My feet were cold but my palms were sweaty. The moment had finally come when a new chapter of my life would start. I am going to be the Luna of the Black Shadow Pack. I looked at my reflection in the giant mirror. I was wearing a white dress beaded with real pearls. The thin fabric complimented my pale skin. My scarlet hairs were curled but left open.

Celeste’s POV Shaylee took me to a cute bistro in town to have a snack and coffee. “So tell me about yourself Celeste! I’m so excited to have a sister!” Shaylee cooed with glee in her eyes. I smiled bashfully and said, “well, there isn’t much to tell…I’m Celeste, I’m from Louisiana, and I am going to UT. I’m now your brother’s personal assistant, and yeah…that’s about where we’re at.” She laughed at my quickened version of ‘get to know you’. “Well, my name is Shaylee Monroe, I am the sister to the alpha and the future mate to his gamma, Darrius. So, I am naturally the head female warrior trainer as well.” Shaylee’s cute smile turned somewhat more serious very quickly.

“How can it be this serious if he barely even drank from her?” I let out a mental groan at his confusion and press down harder on the mental barrier. “You do not need to drink a mouthful to become addicted. Celeste, Nico, and Eli reconnected deeply, making love with the sea sounds around them. Back at the estate, new challenges appeared. The grandson wanted to start his own venture. But before I could reach for her hand, I came back to my senses where I was trying to catch my breath while my cheeks were so wet due to my tears.

The more she learned, the more she realized that her presence at Westmoore might not have been a coincidence after all. And then there was Celeste.
