I murmured, a small smile finally breaking through my brooding exterior.
"Go easy on Mum and Dad," Celeste nudged my shoulder gently. "They're just happy we're all here. Especially after... everything."
"I know," I said softly, glancing over to where our parents were laughing with a group of investors, occasionally looking over at us with eyes full of quiet, emotional relief. "I'm glad you're here, Celeste."
"Me too," she whispered, her eyes shining with a quiet strength. "Now, go check your phone. You've been staring at it like it holds the secrets to the universe for the last hour."
