I just can’t get enough of them.” I continue talking. “Then something silly and inconsequential happens and they have a big fight.” Ronan mumbles.

“You must be Lucian's girlfriend.” “Good morning, ma.” I greet. “I'm Lucy, Lucian's girlfriend.” She claps loudly, her eyes grinning at me. “Lucy and Lucian. What a match made in heaven. I was about to ask how you convinced our boy to give up on eternal singlehood but I can see why now. He couldn't resist his soul reaching out to yours the moment he saw you.” She is a romantic. I blush. “Thank you, ma.” “Let's go.” She says, tucking her hand in mine. “Everyone is excited to meet you.”

Luciano murmured, his voice rough with frustration. "It's always like this," Rosa said, biting her lip as she pulled her hand back, trying not to smile at his dramatic complaint. "Come on, baby.
