I tucked my hair behind my ear as I turned my head towards the glass doors that shine with the vibrant reflection of the lights in the city. Looking further, I spotted the man sitting on the corner with beer on his hand. It is Cassis, who’s spending his time alone drinking and looking afar. Even if I only see his side profile, I could say that he is the most handsome man I ever seen. His hair is a midnight black color; it reminded me the color of the night sky. As I looked at his hair, even when it is dim, I can notice the way the light catches in it and it shimmers as it flows with his subtle move.

I walk over to the table. Someone slams into my shoulder. I spin off course and turn, about to start shouting, but the fucking guy just keeps walking. I stare after him for a few seconds. He’s bleach-pale, like he’s never seen the sun before, but he has long, shaggy black hair and wears a black tank top and baggy black pants. “You look like a goddamn cartoon character!” I shout, my nerves already fried. He flips me off over his shoulder. I turn back to my path to the drinks. Yeah, blurring the edges of this place will make it a lot more tolerable.

Meanwhile back at Pale Moon Pack Dawson’s POV I walk out to the clearing for my scheduled meeting with the Shadow Pack. I have brought a small amount of warriors for security. The moon is high and casts its light all around us. I see a few figures in the shadows as we approach. One man walks to the middle to greet me. He has long black hair, and his eyes are jet black. He looks like a wild animal. There is a scar on his cheek, making him look even more abnormal.

I loved how the white was invading the space of the black, mixing in places to create many shades of gray. “It makes you think who will win in the end, huh?” A man’s voice said behind me. My head snapped in its direction and my eyes landed on a guy who was maybe a year or two older than me. He had dark chestnut hair, stylishly disheveled on top and shaved near his ears and his neck, revealing a black earring on his right ear. I was struck by his black eyelashes, emphasizing his dark brown irises. Everything about his face was like a painting itself, calculated to be perfect.

He says almost screaming. “Tell me what I want to know and I will put them out.” I tell him with a smirk. “We were showed a picture of her. She is short with silky black hair, pale skin and beautiful gray eyes.” He tells us. I look at Grey and nod my head. Grey pushes off the wall and walks towards the man. A soft spoken male voice called out from the other side of the tent flap. A large man who looked to be in his early forties with shoulder length hair and a beard entered the room, he was wearing all black chain armor with an emblem of a wolfs head with blood dripping from its fangs.
