Scarlet's POV Weeks passed and I was already used to the new normal. Sharon has made my life very miserable. Gamma Tyler found his mate some weeks ago and I wished she was like Tyler. I don't know why these ladies crave so much power. When she came, she and Sharon clicked quickly. They made it a duty to make life miserable for me. So far, today has been going well. I went to the laundry to collect some of Sharon's clothes. I headed straight to her room to drop them off.

Chance invited her because she was usually alone in her apartment, but I could tell his fiancé didn't like that. " How are you?" I asked. " Perfect," she tilted her neck and showed me the fading mark. I gasped and put my fingers to my lips. Wyatt's mark was fading on her neck. It could only mean that Rachel and her wolf had agreed to let Wyatt go. " That's wonderful. I'm delighted," I said, " Me too," I sighed. The way she looked at Chance when she spoke was everything, and her smile when he paid her any kind of attention was just beautiful. I knew it all too well. Rachel was falling hard for him.

“What’s on your mind?” Rachel blinked, feeling a little flustered at being caught staring. “Oh, nothing much,” she said quickly, taking the glass. “Just taking it all in, I guess.” Carson raised an eyebrow, his smile widening. “Really? I’m not so sure I believe that.” Rachel rolled her eyes, but there was a playful spark in them. “Fine. Maybe I was thinking about how crazy it is that Alonzo and Abigail are finally married. And Shelley and Miles, too. It feels like everything’s changing.”

In the living room, soft music played in the background, creating an ambiance filled with laughter and conversation. Everyone was getting along quite well, and Elena was happy. This indeed was the start of something new in her life. She didn't know how it was going to go or end yet, but she was here for it. Amidst the group conversations they all engaged in, Chandler found himself engrossed in an animated conversation with Charlotte. Her laughter was infectious, her sparkling eyes capturing his attention momentarily as she leaned in closer, her fingers lightly grazing his arm.

She had waited patiently for his return so they could finally start their life together. Now, her father’s announcement shatters those plans. Charlotte stares at him in disbelief, her chest tightening, watching as he sits comfortably on the couch, a soft smile playing on his lips as he gazes at Rachel, who is now twenty and a freshman in college. Her throat feels dry, and her hands tremble slightly at her sides. Rachel shyly tucks her hair behind her ear, looking every bit innocent, like a white lotus in bloom. Her lips twitch in a faint, knowing smirk.

(Xander) I was happy when I saw everyone was already at the airport when I arrived. I counted all fourteen of my workers, including their families, which turns out to be twenty-three. it doesn't matter, though. I was just glad that everyone is here, especially Rachael. my god, I couldn't take my eyes off her for a minute. I got lost looking at the way her jet-black hair was down, which seemed to be the exact way her mother was. it seems as if she had gotten her looks from her mother because Rachael was the replica.

After she finished speaking, Charmaine stood up straight and puffed out her chest. She was the future Mrs. Huxley of Huxley Real Estate! Rachel was just a nobody, a mere teaching assistant. She had nothing to be afraid of! Rachel burst out laughing, completely unafraid. She laughed so hard that tears were coming out of her eyes, looking as if she'd just heard a funny joke. The only two people at the scene who remained calm were Larissa and Fiona.

I don’t know but I suddenly felt a heat. "This is trouble," I heard Chandler whisper. Rachel grinned and immediately a kiss attacked my lips. I don’t know but I like what she did. Knowing Rachel, she won't stop even if I hurt her so I grabbed her by the waist and lowered my hands on her butt to caress it. I squeezed it while reciprocating her kiss. I then bit her lower lip making her gasp.

And now, the gem who rejected me, was now my wife. Would I say this was a coincidence? Yes, it was a coincidence. Renee, my woman, just mine. Yes, I chased her well. I made her Mine.
