A sudden chill ran through me at the thought. The mother of wolves? The goddess of the moon. She was the one we always prayed to. The one I had prayed to several times while I was still at the pack. Maybe she had heard and sent Beros to save me. I was eager to know more about her. I turned back to continue my reading. "And lastly, Nyxar, the god of chaos and destruction, the push and pull of the world" This last name didn't leave me with a good feeling. Was this deity responsible for all the chaos?

Eons ago, in the youth of the cosmos, there existed beings that possessed great power, comparable to celestial divinity, known by many as the Io. They ruled over the universe, shaping it to their will through the use of mythical engines of unimaginable power that made gods, the Origins. In time, the Io faded into legend and their universal empires fell apart, now only leaving remnants scattered across space, but the influence of the fabled ‘originals’ can still be felt on any world and in any civilization.

Still, they kept watching each other. Zeus was lord of the sky once again, but his wife also bore him three other gods: Ares, the god of war, Hephaestus, the smith-god, forger of weapons, and Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, who shrieks beside Ares in his battle chariot. The rest of Zeus's children were born out of wedlock. Three of them entered the Pantheon later.

I looked stupid in front of all of them lot. I have no idea how come he didn’t wage war against me because he is known to have a temper and as a revengeful motherfucker. I did hear that he visited Wengarthria a couple of times after this whole mess, so I just wanted to ensure that I have some leverage if he tries anything stupid. Apart from being beaten by the voice of a vengeful deity with temper tantrum issues, he is also known as a god who is not your sharpest tool in the shed. So he may get some stupid ideas. And, just as a matter of precaution, I am making a pact with this wild card, Chaister. As the god of Chaos, he's the only one who can somewhat rein in Lertellan. That's how I ended

They were both children of Chaos, a being of reality outside the ordered cosmos, and according to Greek mythology, Chaos was the first being to exist. Any children of his were considered primordial gods and goddesses, meaning they were more like a concept or idea. Like Nyx and Erebus...

I turned around and slide down the length of the door and when I finally felt the floor support me I became sitting with my head against my knees pressed up against my only way out. 'What interest would a god have in me? What interest would Enosos have in me? He was the god of seduction, he could have anyone and yet he has demanded me since I was nothing more then an innocent child. How could I be his? How could he claim that power over me?'

They only wander in the universe and occasionally do something they're interested in from time to time. The power of these outer gods was immense. No gods or mortals are strong enough to kill these gods as many of these gods didn’t have their believers as an anchor to bind them in the world they lived in. Instead, these gods rely on concepts, such as chaos or death to bind them in this world. If one wants to kill this god then one needs to eradicate the concept that these gods use to bind themself out of this universe. Which is impossible.
