CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED NINE AURORA'S POV Chapter 109 opened with a sense of urgency and anticipation as the supernatural community prepared for the imminent convergence. The chosen one, Evelyn, had undergone rigorous training and was now on the cusp of embracing her destiny. It was a pivotal moment, and the weight of the world seemed to rest on her shoulders.

A crack opened, revealing enough space to see her wide, restless green eyes, as if she were about to attack. My body snapped out of the trance as I saw her hand reaching through the crack, forcing the door open. My heart raced as I finally gathered courage and leaped through the window, landing on the roof with a painful impact. The soft snow covered the roof, but my injured leg protested with every step I took. With difficulty, I started walking on the slippery tiles, my breath forming small clouds of vapor. Ivy, below me, urged me to keep going. "Violet, you can do it!" She whispered, her voice filled with anxiety.

(Salvatore's POV) I watch as chaos unfolds before me, the ever-present twilight casting eerie shadows on the panicked faces of humans. They scurry like frightened rats, huddling together and seeking shelter from the strange phenomenon that has plagued London for weeks now. Their fear is palpable, thick in the air, and I cannot help but feel a pang of sympathy for them. They are so fragile, their lives dictated by forces they can neither comprehend nor control. Twilight stopped giving out orders to the clones. The clones went into a frenzy and could not tell between friend and foe; they began to attack Twilight. One of them bit Twilight's hand while another bit her neck. Within seconds, she collapsed on the ground. The rest of the clones pounced on her. It was a brutal scene to watch. Everything happened too fast. Before anyone could react, Twilight was lying motionlessly in a puddle of blood. Larissa covered Vincent's eyes and turned her gaze away. The crazed clones continued to attack even after murdering Twilight.

Chapter 15: the journey begins As the ground trembled beneath their feet and the sky darkened ominously overhead, Emilia and Ryder exchanged a knowing glance. Whatever awaited them, they were prepared to face it together. With the power of the Heartstone pulsing within them, they stood ready to confront the unknown with courage and determination. Her entire body felt as though it were being devoured by ants, the sensation unbearable. She couldn’t stop the soft, stifled moans that escaped her lips. Suddenly, a sharp click pierced the air, and the lights flicked on. Tara’s vision blurred, her consciousness slipping away. Through her hazy gaze, she saw a tall, striking man walking toward her.

Tonight was my birthday party, still can't believe that I'm freaking eighteen! “So, were are you able to get my phone from….” My voice trailed off when a sweet, intoxicating scent filled my nose. For the first time in a long run, Anna, my wolf reacted to that scent. The scent was coming behind Flair, my heart began pounding heavily and I took a few steps backward. I almost tripped on my gown but Flair was quick to hold me again. “Girl, what's wrong with you? Are you okay?” He placed his hand on my forehead but my gaze was on the person behind him.

I whispered. "I know." He held me tighter. Stepped into the swirling light. The last thing I saw was Damon's wolf launching through the air, trying to reach us. Too late. The portal swallowed us whole. And everything went black. END OF CHAPTER SIX
