Chapter 30 Fourth Wing Novels & Stories

It failed. His wings tore free in a violent surge, cracking the walls around him, black membranes unfurling with such force that stone splintered where they struck. The chamber shuddered beneath the sudden weight of his presence, as something darker, older, and far less contained surged forth to answer the rage that now ruled him. But the movement broke halfway through. The left wing faltered. Not from hesitation, from damage.

Adrewine's body convulsed instead, a shudder so violent it seemed to tear the air itself. A low strangled, guttural cry wrenched from her throat as her spine arched backward. The ground beneath her feet cracked. The air rippled then split. Merenrys stumbled back, eyes wide, as the child’s small frame began to distort—stretching, twisting, reforming. Bones popped like snapping branches, her skin tore in delicate seams that wept smoke instead of blood. Her shoulders split open, and from the fissures unfurled wings that shimmered wetly, each membrane swirling with the iridescent sheen of oil on water. Smoke coiled from them, black and alive, tasting of sulfur and burnt myrrh.

Keiran’s POV One Aetherfang dropped directly into a group of younger warriors who had bunched too close to defend a bunker route. Its wings smashed two men to the ground before the claws even landed. Teeth closed on a third at the shoulder and tore most of him away in one monstrous motion. The rest scattered, exactly as the thing wanted.

The person on the other side stated. I had to clear my throat before I could respond “Angels shouldn’t have clipped wings.” “I understand hold just a moment.” The man that had answered pressed a few buttons and before I knew it, I could hear June’s voice through the phone, “Are you safe?” June was straight to the point, but in her line of work I assume she had to be.

I snickered. "Next time, baby. Get ready, because I'm coming for it." "Hey, we had a deal. I hope you're ready for the alpha size dildo I ordered." "Oh I'm ready." He nibbled on my nose. "Whatever you want, baby, I'm game." *THE END* To be continued: Wolfbitten, Book 4 of the Wolfbane Series

Chapter Thirty Chaos The sound of stacking wood echoed around the courtyard. Nora wincing each time the wood was dropped, her eyes locked on Jace who was still slumped over on the ground. She shut her eyes and tried to fixate on him and see if she could hear his heart. Her heart pounding in her chest was the only sound she could hear as she fought back tears. It couldn’t end like this. She looked out over the courtyard, her heart sinking even more, her pack members struggling to not fight. Every time one of them moved so much as moved an inch, the guards fired the wolfbane poisoned water onto them. The moon starts to peek out against the sunset. She squeezed her eyes shut and begged the mo

They flare on either side of me and when I stand, the points arch to encompass a wide scope of the ground, causing the others to back away in shock. Because I have wings. Wings of fire.

Ryker I was feeding my mate Lora as she was trying to shy away from eating and Drax was in talk with Levi when I heard a glass break. Before I knew it, we were all flying through the air and my instincts were to cover Lora, I felt projectiles in my back and Lora was screaming before everything went black. I opened my eyes as I could feel the heat in the room, it was on fire, I linked Toffe who appeared and looked horrified. His eyes glowed as the fire was out of the room, he looked at me and rushed over to Ty, who was dead, he had a hard piece of the table in his chest, Toffe removed it and waited for Ty to wake up. I was groggy and checked on Drax whose left leg was broken and a few of his

Black fire boiling through the clouds, chains thrashing like whips of night, wings slicing the air so hard the world tilts every time they beat. And the hand— Gods, the hand. It’s not a hand anymore. It’s a storm of bone and light, folding and unfolding in ways that make my stomach lurch. Every twitch breaks another piece of the City. Spires collapsing like sandcastles. Streets twisting into knots. And Kael—he’s holding it. Holding it. Chains binding its fingers, shadows dragging against its skin like barbed wire. His wings cut arcs of darkness so sharp they shear the air in two.

Calvin certainly warranted it. How dare this bitch come into my domain and declare war! She would be another exception. I have never consumed a Vessel, but I wanted, and needed, to consume her. I released a high-pitched whistle, calling my children to me. Seven of them showed up. Four of them were in their first form with their wings out. Our wings were just like serrated blades – dangerous, lethal, and the perfect weapons. The remaining three of them were in their second form, essentially making them tanks. They were far more durable in this form but did not have the same agility as the first form.
