Just as Xander Faris gritted his teeth and was about to help Omar Pine and the others, a hand suddenly stopped in front of him. Xander Faris's vision blurred for a moment. He narrowed his eyes and saw clearly that the person in front of him was Charlotte Sky who had become a disciple of the Heaven’s Edge Sect. Up to now, there had not been any casualties for their team, but only someone fainted. It was because of the help of Charlotte Sky. She didn't bring many things this time, but she brought a lot of elixirs. As soon as everyone was surrounded, she did not hesitate to give all her elixirs to everyone and told them not to save the elixirs.

"Charlie, get away from that beast. He is spouting nothing but lies and is a threat to our people." Xander yelled, wiping the back of his hand over his bleeding lip. He looked like shit with a split lip, a bust eyebrow, and what I could only hope was a shattered cheekbone based on the dark purple coloring to it. "Shut the fuck up!" Charlie growled, stepping forward, and I instinctively grabbed her hand before she got too far away. She glanced down before interlacing our fingers and stopped. He wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't have her getting hurt on my watch.

A ripple went through her heart, and then it quieted. She looked up and met Xavier's anxious gaze. He set the strawberry down, his voice tight. "Do you want to see him, princess?" Freya took in his tense profile and smiled. "No." She gave his cheek a poke. "Keep feeding me strawberries." The light leapt back into Xavier's eyes. In no time, he was back to being that eager puppy, holding out each strawberry for her to take. For a moment, Freya thought she'd ended up with an oversized puppy.

Charlie's POV I was still in my debating state with Greek when Freya startled me. I didn't even notice when she walked up to me, her fingers batting in the air, lips as always over-inked with red lipstick. She stood audaciously tall, almost unclad in her mini skirt that only did the job of shielding her ass, a black tank top with her nipples sticking out to view. "You came?" "Yes, it's an open space." “I’ll bring the popcorn to the beat down.” I bark out a laugh and pull her into a hug. My eyes widen in surprise and I pull back when I hear a low growl rumbling from Xander’s throat. I look to see a fierce gleam of possessiveness in his eye and he lowly and firmly states, “Mine.” I slowly remove my hands from Charlie, who just waves it off. “I don’t want your mate, Xander. I’ve got my hands full already.” Her eyes dart between Brandon and Zak, a satisfied smirk on her lips.
