CHAPTER 18 DAYLIGHT AIDEN I write and sometimes I paint. At first I started with writing stories, stories of strong heroes who went off to distant lands to vanquish powerful foes and bring honor to their kingdoms. I wrote of princesses trapped in magical towers, fated to live a life dictated by their horrible conniving mother but through the power of true love and determination manage to free themselves from such a fate. One time I wrote of a ghost that haunted a village for a hundred years but that ghost was actually a misunderstood little boy longing for a friend.

His prompts are like keys that unlock the doors to uncharted territories, inviting me to explore the vast landscapes of my imagination. In this realm of creativity and narrative, I am free to weave tales of heroes and villains, of love and loss, of triumph and despair. It is a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, where the mundane is transformed into something magical. With each stroke of my pen, I breathe life into characters who dance across the pages, their stories unfolding before my very eyes.

“So Melissa got a hold on our imaginations and crossed over into our world, but how? By taking over someone else’s body and making them look like her?” “There are some mysteries it’s best not to dwell on.” Jimmy thought about the confused girl he’d seen outside the studio when he’d pursued Melissa. Then he thought about some of the things Melissa might have done, and what could have happened to Sam, and he didn’t want to think about it anymore. The Tailor was probably right. “How did she get to be a character though?” said Jimmy. “I mean she’s a real person, or she was.” “All characters are partly based on real people. Authors put real people into their stories all the time.”

He seemed interested. “A writer, maybe?” I grinned. He chuckled lightly. “I've read a lot of books and it's given me this hunger to write mine. I wanna create characters and weave their perfect worlds…” “Right. Are your male characters gonna be hot, sexy, and macho? Are they gonna be as obsessive as me?” “No…” “No?” He scoffed between smiles. “Girl, you better make me the muse for those male characters or they're gonna come out all stale and sloppy.”

It was just a matter of brushing up his knowledge. He wrote down the scenario and hesitated about the ending. Did he want his couple to have a happy ending? Darien wasn’t sure about that. He hadn’t written a happy ending for a while and he owed a happier ending to his fans. He left a question mark for the ending and started on his character profiles. The first protagonist sounded like they should be tall and strong with dark hair and a hard personality. The second protagonist felt like they should be short, rounded faced with bright eyes and an optimistic personality.

She had her recorder in her hand and was staring at me with a piercing expression. "Well, we are given lists of general outlines and asked to expand on the given story ideas. So I took the general review from a list and developed specific characters. Often when I write, I let the characters dictate the story." She cocked her head slightly and her smile started to droop down. "You let the characters-that you created in your head-tell the story?" It was clear she was confused and furthermore that she hated to be confused. I tried not to smirk at her. "Yes, I can feel them and hear them in my head, once I’ve created them. I follow their personalities and think about what choices they would make

With that I believe that the characters actions in this story are not limitedly portrayed as an antagonist or protagonist in that matter, as I'm particular that there is not one antagonist or protagonist in this story… if you are wondering which is which, I'm confident to leave that to your imagination. Consciously, this story might just be a compilation of multiple rewrites, revisions, word grinding, thesaurus, grammar checkers and stacks of psychology research papers and case studies, but to me personally, it was a thrilling 7 days and 8 nights of turning a single word to a soulful dialogue, dialogue to masterful paragraph, paragraphs to full grown characters, character to exciting chapter

I knew that it was compliment and I knew that I should be giddy with joy and relief but I could not show too much of excitement. “Staring at me and talking to me is going to not give you impetus or motivation to write for a long time. If you really wish to write more interesting characters then you know that you have to talk to people, you have to go to different places, you need to make sure that there is a variety in what you are seeing. I do understand what you are saying. It is difficult for some people to connect with others except a few, I get it. Trust me I get it. But you create a world where lots of people find comfort in but for that also you need to find new stimulus. And I think

There was a name of the character in the story that Hikari write and everything that they need to do now is to create the appearance of the characters. Hikari tells Neu and Nimura that he was not good at making a character. So since there were 3 main characters in the story, Hikari asks them if they want to create one character for each of them.
