MAGGIE POV I come to and Damon is sat staring at me. He presses his face against mine and runs his hand down my body. He leans in to kiss me when suddenly the basement hatch is ripped off and the shock of it causes Lyra to break through and partially shift. Damon stumbles back as I break through the wraps on my wrists and ankles and he is thrown to the floor by a blur of black and red.
