Elowen’s POV – Twilight Whispers That evening, as the last vestiges of daylight faded into the soft embrace of twilight, the academy’s grounds transformed into a quiet sanctuary. I found myself wandering along a secluded stone path leading to a hidden courtyard, a place that had once been filled with echoes of our past conflicts and now promised a fragile new beginning. The gentle hum of evening stirred in the air—a murmur of crickets, the soft rustle of leaves—and all around, the academy seemed to exhale, releasing the weight of the day.

I smiled at her. “Mine is just Layla.” She’s not really Bella after all. Good thing! She seems nice. Maybe that’s why I was annoyed with her yesterday because I don’t want anyone else playing the character of Bella Swan who is someone else. “You know twilight?” I asked out of the blue. “H-huh?” “Twilight, written by Stephenie Meyer. The novel?” “There’s a movie now so it’s impossible you don’t know,” I said. Her forehead furrowed. Seems confused by what I said. She didn’t seem to know them.

All the men left one after the other remaining the girls. "How was it?" Charlotte asked as she attended to her friend's injury. "It was terrible, Charlotte. Allen is a vampire..." "And so is the rest of them - Xander and Kyle while Drake is a white witch. Ben is ordinary." Charlotte interrupted her, filling in the space. "Wait, how did you even know?" "Kyle and I are mates," Charlotte revealed to her. "Mates?" Jane mumbled then she remembered what Red had said to her that party night regarding vampires looking for their mates or something like that.

When Charlotte awoke later that morning, she spent the day in the library, researching Amahl, the king of the night demons. The vampires had an impressive library filled with books relating to every topic about the occult and supernatural and she spent the rest of the day reading everything she could find about Amahl and the night demons. She was so engrossed in her research that she didn't realize that it was already evening until Harris came to inform her that dinner was being served in the dining room.

I look down as well, and feel Louise tugging at the leash to keep us moving. “This mate thing you keep talking about… is it like Jacob and Renesmee?” I asked. “I don’t know who those people are.” I laugh, “Twilight, you old man” a look passes over his face as he tries to remember which character did what, “Oh! The demon baby and the werewolf?” I laugh at his description and nod.
