“Exactly. I'm just here to fill space." She scoffs, rolls her eyes, then turns her attention back to Axel, who is still resolutely ignoring both of us. "Axel, are you sure this is the right entrance? It looks like a service road." Axel finally snaps his phone shut and looks up, his expression utterly blank. "It's the right road, Charlotte. And if you don't have anything to do other than shut up, fly out the window." Charlotte's face twists as she scoffs again. “I have a terrible feeling about this party with you two invited. You both look like sad bitches who realized they've booked their own funeral instead of a vacation."

This level of excitement from a normally stoic man would be endearing except that I can’t seem to open my half-lidded eyes. Charlotte plopped on my lap. I hugged her and slumped over the couch. Wanting to disappear under the cushions. Austin has turned off all the lights and set his security alarms, he’s just standing at the door, patiently waiting. I grumble once more and pick up Charlotte. My only condition for this morning’s shenanigans is that Charlie would come with us and ‘of course, she’s coming with us, I won’t leave my baby here for the 2 days,’ he said.

That way he will be safe here and I can get him over there once I find a way too,” She stated. Charlene's eyes were puffed, and it looked like she had been crying overnight.

Austin has one and only rule when she started living in her own; she must not let other people swayed her or woo her. In that case, no one can take advantage of her.
