MY EX HUSBAND REGRET AFTER DIVORCING ME

MY EX HUSBAND REGRET AFTER DIVORCING ME

The cashier asked me. "No.” After she finished calculating the total, I paid for everything, and she handed me a large plastic bag filled with my groceries. I thanked her before leaving the supermarket. The sunlight warmed my face and gradually brightened the street as the morning progressed, chasing away the gray clouds lingering overhead. Everything around me was becoming more vibrant, yet I couldn't shake the gloomy feeling weighing on my heart. I still had the unsettling feeling that someone was watching me, following me even now. I rushed home without paying attention to my surroundings, and I accidentally stepped into a puddle along the way. My footing suddenly gave way, and I lost my

the Alpha's Witch

I am responsible for fresh food, self care and cleaning supplies. This store is huge and very convenient being so close to our place. I have my cart already half full, but i find it really hard to remember what i am looking for. This heaviness in the atmosphere makes my brain a little bit foggy and i keep looking at my list, trying to concentrate. Like i don't have enough trouble with that on my own. I am so absorbed in my own head, i never notice that huge man lurking in the shadows at the end of my aisle, his bright yellow eyes glued on me. However, i think the air is not so dense on me anymore.

Love Slave to My Devil CEO Boss

Love Slave to My Devil CEO Boss

I sighed before willingly letting him pull me after him on our little quest for food. … “Did we make it?” I asked in slight panic when we finally made it back to the same spot that we were. Unfortunately, there was a long line at the fast food counter that took more time than we had anticipated. Ace walked after me while typing something on his phone until we arrived back at the exact same spot that we were before. By that time, there were so many people walking around at the shopping district that it was surprising for a weekday. Then again, I haven’t been to the shopping district during the middle of the workday often before because I was supposed to be working at the office.

In the Shadow of the CEO

In the Shadow of the CEO

"I'll be out in a moment, Jia." "Yes, sir," she said automatically, but she turned to look over her shoulder when she heard his voice filtering from a distance. Where had he gone? He had been behind her just a second ago. She craned her neck, however, and saw that he had disappeared into his bedroom. The door remained open, and there was a soft light glowing inside that cast Atlas's moving shadow out into the hallway. Her eyes widened when she eventually recognized the particular movements of the shadow: shifting arms, and then a shirt being peeled off. She ripped her gaze away before she could invade Atlas's privacy any further, horrified that she had just caught herself ogling her boss's s

Loved this story of 2 people who showed real growth, evolving in a v. positive way bc of their emotional connection, determination to persevere under v. trying circumstanc. Yr treatment of anxiety & depression, particularly involving women was handled beautifully & with great clarity & sensitivity.

the book was good, but most of the time i find it boring as it focus more on details and thoughts of the character, it loses the flow of conversation making it boring just for me,well just my thoughts... but overall the story is good. thank you author...

Being a Half-Blood For Real

Being a Half-Blood For Real

Chase patted his head, “We will get going then. Bye, dude!” “Bye-bye! Bring carrots for me fast” Koda waved aggressively at our fading figures. We crossed the road and walked a couple of meters to the Giant Super Market. Chase hastily rushed over to drag a trolley and entered inside. It was Sunday and there were many people hustling around in a bustle. The whining of kids could be heard while passing by the candy and chocolate section while teenagers were crowded at the snack aisle. Old-aged grandmothers hung a small purse just above their elbow and passed by us with a small hunch. The faint sound of music playing in the background just barely audible.

Enter the Shadows

She saw the shift again. “Do you see something?” Ichiro asked. “There,” she pointed at the spot she was watching. “I thought I saw—” Her eyes widened when a shape broke away from the darkest section of the cloud. More followed. “Shadows. It’s starting.”

Chasing Chance

Chasing Chance

After feeling satisfied, he then went shopping. With the shopping list in hand, Chance scanned the shelf for Kristoff's favourite coffee and creamer. Then moved on to getting some veggies, but before he could get to that aisle a cart crashed into his. Chance apologised and tried to move around the woman, who moved her cart to crash into his again. It happened a few more times. Chance closed his eyes. He already knew what the woman was trying. "I'm sorry ma'am, but can I just get by to finish my shopping." Chance gave her a small smile.

The Alpha's plus size urban human mate Mina and Lynn's story

Below the Warehouse: Shadow had been running up and down every hallway searching for Shawna. He felt the mates bond which was still confusing to him but this building head some type of spell on it that was stopping him from pinpointing the exact location. “Hey, you’re the big scary wolf who knocked up my friend.” Trixie said, as they both came out of different hallways. “You need to get back above ground this place is coming down around us. Your friends are very worried about you.” Shadow said, checking the walls to make sure he doesn’t go down the same hallway twice. He started running his claws the length of each hallway. “No worries I will be find, I have been on worse missions than this;

I love the 2nd book but the ending was not my favorite. You should have brought some of the stories to an end. Especially. the one with Shadow, his triplets and the crazy vampire wife. Will definitely read the next book but this ending left me with too many questions.

I absolutely love this series!!! Patiently waiting for the next book regarding Trixie and all the new characters, plus a continuation of the storyline. I love how the characters are different from other books and the conversations are hilarious!!! Definitely keeps me interested. Kept it up!

The Forgotten Omega

The Forgotten Omega

It's as if I am invisible, just another face in the crowd. As I navigate through the narrow aisles, a sense of urgency engulfs me, my footsteps resonating against the linoleum floor. The fluorescent lights above flicker intermittently; casting an eerie glow on the meticulously arranged products. The aroma of freshly baked bread and brewing coffee momentarily distracts me from my primal cravings. Even the vibrant colors of the fruits and vegetables in the produce section fail to entice me. My desires are far from ordinary, far from the typical offerings found in this mundane grocery store. I yearn for the raw, untamed taste of meat, the primal satisfaction that only a carnivorous feast can pr

Chasing my pregnant ex wife

Chasing my pregnant ex wife

“What if you’re chasing the wrong woman? what if i am nothing but a mere shadow of your wife” Stephen let out a small, pained smile. “I’ve made plenty of mistakes in my life, Alena, but this isn’t one of them. There’s only one you in this world. I’m not chasing your face—I’m following my heart. I feel it when you’re near, when you smile, when you cry. You’re the only one who can stir my soul like this.” Alena closed her eyes, overwhelmed by his words. She wanted to believe him, but her heart and mind were at war. “I need to go,” she said, her voice trembling. “Rose is waiting for me.”
