“If you have any news, contact me immediately.” There was a slight pause before Kenji spoke again. “You still have that flower?” Yuri knew what flower her uncle was talking about -- The stalk of the cherry blossom flowers, otherwise known as the sakura blossoms, that Kenji had brought over during his January visit that year, and which Hitomi had placed in a vase half-filled with water. “Of course. Niisan never forgot that my favourite sakura blossoms. Every year, you always picked a stalk of it for me when the sakura blossoms in Japan.” There was a slight pause. “It’s getting late. I’ll make up a bed for you—”

Crystal parked the car in front of the Han river park and took her phone from her purse before getting down from the car. It's still dark, and so cold. She wrapped her scarf around her and rolled her eyes around. The pathway was dense with rows of cherry blossom trees. The late winter breeze made her legs numb though it was quite refreshing with the touch of the pleasant smell of the trees and flowers. The place was so peaceful at this hour. Cherry grabbed that and wishes Zein's name was on the screen. Hee shoulder shriveled to know that it was not Zein, but her mom. Before answering the call, Cherry managed her facial expression so she wouldn't suspect her.

Min-ho held Si-ri’s hand and took him outside and showed him a plant. “What’s this?” Si-ri exclaimed in surprise. “You’re such a dumb girl. It's a plant,” Min-ho jokingly said and laughed out loud but quickly brushed off his laughter once he saw Si-ri’s angry face. “Do you remember when you told me that you love cherry blossoms and how much you were craving to dance in the rain of pink petals of cherry blossom trees? So, here this is a mini cherry blossom.”

Winter New Years Eve banners hang on the wall. The tape slips on the one side and the banner goes to fall. “Lena! You're side!” I point and she catches it. Katie and Ricky laugh at her as she jumps up on the couch and smacks it to the wall. “Ricky, tape me!” She holds her hand out palm up and Ricky smacks a roll of tape into her open hand. Clearly the girl has been watching way too much Grey's Anatomy. Next she's going to call Ricky 'BokHee' and ask for a 'ten blade'.
