CEREBUS

CEREBUS

Gamma’s nose pressed against the door, breath steaming the wood. “We’re being hunted,” Ellie whispered. Dr. Nadia Voss didn’t flinch. She only nodded, her old hands tightening on her cane. “They’re scared. The Chimera has risen, and they think the key to stopping it is also the key to destroying us.” Ellie’s throat tightened. “They’re wrong.” “Maybe,” Voss said softly. “But fear doesn’t care about truth. And Blackglass? They don’t hesitate. I’ve seen what they do to things they don’t understand.”

Falling for Darkness

Falling for Darkness

I didn't want to see Rowan so this was my only option to escape him. But that was to an end when he showed up to the club, made his way to me and lifted it up to his shoulders. What the fuck? ‘’What the fuck, put me down , you asshole, everyone is watching.’’ ‘’That is what you get for being a bad girl’’ huh, why does he care? This man is leaving me confused. ‘’Put me down right fucking now’’, he didnt until i felt a sting in my buttcheek, did he…spank me?

The Fall

The Fall

Suddenly the front door clattered open, a large black of smoke weaving through the room as a pair of blood red eyes peeked through the fog. "Where is she?" He hissed angrily, his loyal fur-less black hounds entered the room growling angrily. The man snarled viciously awaiting their response, his flesh appeared to be rotted and hugged his bones, he wore a hooded black cloak, his eyes darting around the room. "She got sick. She didn't make it." Clara cried, it was a lie but she was very convincing. If he thought she was dead he would never look for her.

the light within the polymer began to flicker and fracture. "What have you done?" Bianca Moretti screamed, her cool, clinical facade shattering. She lunged for the pedestal, her "Smart-Fiber" suit strobing with a panicked, rhythmic amber light. "You’ve just dissolved the only coherent map of the human future! Without the Manifest, the Resonance will collapse into pure entropy!" "The Resonance isn't a map, Bianca," I said, stepping back as the violet smoke filled the small chamber. "It’s a conversation. And you can’t have a conversation if the ending is already written in stone."

Descent

Descent

I just finished reading the last book when I started to write Descent for real! The title when this was still a draft was actually ‘Can’t Help Falling (In Love With You)’ because I was listening to the same song only the dark version at the time. But I got annoyed because I felt it was too freaking long to be a title. For a time, I settled calling the story "Fall from Grace" in my head but it still felt wrong... so when I searched for a synonym, the meaning of the word descent.. clicked; it feels like it perfectly sums up the entire plot.

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

A massive chunk of obsidian-gold quartz fell to the floor, disintegrating into gray ash before it even hit the mercury. I tried to pull the power back, to ground the surge, but the city’s grid refused me. The infrastructure I had built—the city I had named Rebirth—was identifying me as a foreign object. I was being deleted from my own house. "No!" Leo shrieked. He lunged for me, his small hands fisting into the cold stone of my lap. "Mommy! Stop turning into dust! Stay! Please stay!" The gold static from Leo’s palms tried to fuse the stone back together, but Ryan’s anti-resonance field was already dropping a violet dome over the boy.

Accidentally Fell For My Ex's Uncle. The Dark Alpha

"How is Remi." I didn't answer immediately. Which was its own answer. "She blamed me," I said. Finally. "Last night. She hit me. Told me to leave." "And you came back." "Yes." "Good." She nodded once. "That was correct." She paused. "Nero. Listen to me carefully. The Chimera is going to come back. He always comes back. He's been doing this for fifty years and he does not stop." She held my eyes. "Your defense of this palace was good. Your army preparation was good. The barricades were good. The witch — me — was good." She paused. "But your real weapon is still not ready."

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

Not consciousness transfer. Something much older. Much darker. The Harrow Project was always a feint. The true endpoint? Protocol CHIMERA. I stood in the core bunker beneath Prague, observing the Phase Four footage as a father would at his child's first performance. They were exquisite. Eyes like liquid metal. Spines too pliable to belong to any human. Voices that resonated at frequencies capable of shattering bone. And they were evolving. One of them had already uttered its first word.

THE DOOR

THE DOOR

It was a thick, viscous wall of metallic sludge and caustic salts, held together by the gravity of Kesi’s Word and the shape of Ressi’s will. The wall rose twenty feet high, a jagged, smoking barrier of black and grey that hissed as it reacted with the air. The Guardians hit the wall. The lead hyena-chimera didn't even have time to brake. It slammed into the caustic sludge, its steel plates melting as the concentrated chemicals stripped away the paint and the metal. The beast shrieked—a high-pitched mechanical whine—as its internal circuitry shorted out in the liquid grave. The other beasts skidded to a halt, their red sensors pulsing in confusion as their "prey" vanished behind a wall of th
