The Pack's Doctor

The Pack's Doctor

“I’ll be back in thirty minutes. I’m going to shower, then get my schedule and some books. Maybe we can look through them and see what's in store for us. Yorick and I spend the afternoon going through our schedule. “I’ve never considered war an art,” I say, looking at the class titles Art of War. “Many do though,” Yorick says, flipping through his book. “There are lots of books on it.” I'm sitting on the small couch in my room. He'd pulled up a chair, pulling my legs over his lap. As we’ve talked and gone through our course schedule, his fingers had been gently running up and down my legs, periodically rubbing my feet as we talk. At some point, he’d extended his legs to the couch and I start

This book is a number one hit. I accidentally read the second book before I knew there was a first book. Therefore I next read the first book. The first book included the second so I ended up reading the second book again. I’m so looking forward to the next book. I love the characters.

I absolutely love The Pack’s … EVERYTHING! I’ve read every book so far and continue to search weekly to see when the next one comes out! I just love the entire storyline and hope that it continues on for a very long time! I’m so anxious to see the quads take over! lol

I Became A Lycan Princess After Rejection

I Became A Lycan Princess After Rejection

Yet, they could see through my facade and they knew that I was keeping a brave face. I sighed and looked at the books kept on a shelf beside me. “The art of war,” I muttered the name before picking out a copy. It was a great book from what I had heard but I had not read it yet. Something about it always put me off to read. With a sigh, I leaned back in my seat and smiled. This was not how I wanted this day to go. Me, sitting here reading a strange book while Jakeson tortured the rogue. I felt like my insides were going to burn with the amount of anger and jealousy I was feeling at this moment.

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

They stepped inside. Raven’s sharp blue eyes scanned the spines—titles in languages older than Arcadia Prime, bindings of shadow-leather and bone. Victoria moved with purpose, fingers trailing over volumes until she stopped before a thick tome bound in matte black hide that drank the light rather than reflected it. Silver script crawled across the cover like living veins: *Intricate Military Command of the Dead* *Advanced Studies in the Art of Necromantic Warfare* Raven reached up—standing on tiptoe—and pulled it free. The weight surprised her; this was no slim intermediate text. This was dense, heavy with diagrams of battlefield sigils, troop formations of the risen, rites for coordinating

Red: Claimed by the Keeper in the Tower

It already had. I stood and began my morning duties, my body moving through the familiar motions while my mind worked, turning the problem over and over, examining it from every angle. I dusted the bookshelves in his study, my fingers tracing the spines of the books he read. Strategy. Tactics. The art of war. He had learned his lessons well. It was time I learned mine.

365 day to fall in love with Mr. Mafia Boss

365 day to fall in love with Mr. Mafia Boss

“For 363 days.” He searched my face, then let go like I’d burned him. He didn’t touch me again for the rest of the drive. That night, I found a book on my nightstand. The Art of War. No note. I opened it. On the first page, in black ink, sharp and precise: Rule six: Enemies are everywhere. Trust no one. Not even me. I closed the book and looked at the camera in the corner. Red light, blinking. Always blinking.

I get the holidays are here and it can make things a little hectic. But all the more reason to try and get those chapters out ahead of time as we all would like to continue reading. However at this rate it seems you may lose followers of the book and the money you get by them supporting your novel.

Mate by Fate, Bound by Love

Mate by Fate, Bound by Love

I wore a mask and entered the library, I looked around and saw that no one recognized me, heaving a sigh of relief, I went into the war section and brought out a book that says "Introduction to strategy and strategy thinking" The title sounded compelling as I opened the book and began to read "A general plan to attain one or more long-term or overall goals under unknown circumstances is called a strategy. The term "art of the general" first appeared in Eastern Roman terminology in the sixth century C.E. and was only translated into Western vernacular languages in the eighteenth century. It encompassed several subsets of talents such as military tactics, siegecraft, logistics, military strate

DUBAI THE CITY OF DREAMS

DUBAI THE CITY OF DREAMS

'"Defense is the planning of an attack" Abdullah nodded a slight smile on his lips. 'The Art of War by Sun Tzu,' he said. 'Impressive.' She simply stared at him, chin jutted out, and he quoted back at her, '"He who knows when he can fight and when he cannot will be victorious".' 'Exactly.' He laughed softly, shaking his head. 'So you think you can win in this situation, Your Highness, despite all I've said?' '"The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting".'

Sacrificed To The Alpha

When she found it, she took it home with her. The Art of War was a famous ancient Chinese text written by Sun Tzu, a general who served as the Chancellor of Shu during the Sixteen Kingdoms period. In the book, Sun Tzu wrote about war and strategy. One of the greatest lessons he taught was to remain calm, even when facing your enemies. Jewel opened up the book and turned to chapter four. It was titled, "Know Your Enemy."

I can choose a much thinner book… The 33 Strategies of War- Robert Greene I stared at it for a while, and then I shrugged the thought and went back to the table. Minnie ignored me and didn't even look up to see what I got. She's too engrossed with the book that I think she wouldn't even notice me leaving. I glanced at the book again and decided to start reading.
