Till Time Do Us Part

Till Time Do Us Part

she continued. She could see hesitation in the other three’s faces. “The fuck, that actually worked?” thought Gray to herself. She had always dominated fistfights with her intimidating face and threatening words that effectively worked on delinquents who are purely driven by instincts. One of the things she had learned in reading Zia’s massive collection of books was the famous quote of Sun Tzu in her book “The art of War” that said “every battle is won before it is fought.” The quote somehow talked about how intelligence can win a war against strength. In Gray’s case, she knew she didn’t have the intelligence but she had a tactic that is widely popular in the world of wild animals. It is th

Daddy's Obsession (Filthy Daddies Collection)

Daddy's Obsession (Filthy Daddies Collection)

She hadn't eaten much at dinner, too busy cataloging escape routes and weapons. "He also left these for you." Helen set a small stack of books on the nightstand. "He thought you might be bored." After she left, Raven examined the books. Sun Tzu's Art of War. A biography of some ancient Roman general. Military strategy guides. All about warfare, tactics, the psychology of combat. He was studying her. Learning what she was. She dressed in the clothes he'd provided - dark jeans that fit like they were made for her and a soft sweater. Everything was perfect. Everything was a reminder that he controlled even what touched her skin.

The CEO's Contractual Wife

The CEO's Contractual Wife

"Those records stay locked away unless someone gives me a reason to look. I'm not interested in random people's offshore accounts." "Just your enemies." "Just the people who threaten what's important to me." His foot found mine under the table. "That's how this works. You protect what matters." I understood the implication. He was protecting his position at Carter Enterprises. Protecting Carter Enterprises. Protecting his future. Protecting us, in whatever weird way this arrangement had evolved into. "So you're basically building an arsenal without firing a shot," I said. "Deterrence is more effective than actual warfare." He refilled my wine glass. "Sun Tzu said the supreme art of war is to

I am reading this book and the other book you are currently serialising. Both have exceptional storylines, excellent grammar and I am absolutely obsessed with reading them. My only disappointment is with this novel you are only updating every weeks with between 5-7 chapters which is no enough.

So sorry to hear the author is recovering from illness. Hope he will continue this story when he is able. This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Praying for a speedy recovery for him!

The Mafia's Girl

The Mafia's Girl

KANE’s POV “Treat your men as you would your own beloved sons. And they will follow you into the deepest valley.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War A cool gust of wind caresses my skin as we finally reach our destination. Sergio’s haven looms over us as we crouch hidden in the tall grass. The place is dark, save for a few torched flames that Sergio’s guards carry as they patrol the premise. Russo, who is the stealthiest amongst us raises his hand ever so slightly, forming the number seven with his fingers.

Noble Husband At the Door

Noble Husband At the Door

"What're you laughing at?" Chi Meng asked in a light voice. "I'm laughing at the enemy's stupidity, or I'm laughing at Samuel being smart enough." "Miss, Samuel failed to lure the enemy. How can you praise him?" "Lure the enemy?" Lu Ruoxin chuckled. "Soldiers are crafty. Don't judge a book by its cover." "There are masters of the art of war among them, and they are the generals of the orthodox army. They are well-commanded and well-trained. There are also some people from the grassroots. It's appropriate for them to act according to circumstances."

Queen U Hamzie
Just from the preview it’s seems like it’s the charismatic Charlie Wade. It’s only written with different characters and slightly different way. I stopped reading charismatic because it’s too long and was not seeing the light and it’s now put to 5k chapters. Who reads a book that long. Make it a mo

This story has been keeping me entertained during my lunch breaks at work. Often leaving with a good cliffhanger. It's now been 4 days since update. If I do not see update tomorrow, I will delete the app. No more dollar from me. I know I am not alone.

The Warrior And His Emperors

The Warrior And His Emperors

Thankfully they have written rules which include not attacking when weapons are down and the warrior is not attacking. However, it was Mithraos's reaction that was curious. Eloy seems to be frozen on spot as he watched Mithraos wield the sword. Rishi looked emotional and out of it and Adharva knew he will have to interfere. His brother is a great warrior. But when distracted, anyone is a danger to themselves. He raised his sword and clashed it with Mithraos's and sure enough, the emperor turned. The war come to an abrupt halt as the two Kings faced off. The swords were lowered as the emperor's warred causing sounds that echoed in the ground and the woods.

The Don's Daughter

The Don's Daughter

VITTORIA’S POV Three days before the wedding, I was sitting in the library. Not hiding. Not lurking. Sitting, comfortably, curled into one of the leather lounge chairs with a book resting open in my hands. The Art of War. Sun Tzu had lived and died long before men like Nikolai De Luca ever learned to call themselves kings, but strategy never aged. Power never changed. Only the pieces on the board did. I liked ancient warfare texts. They were honest. They didn’t pretend victory came from morality or mercy. They understood what most people refused to admit, wars were won before the first blow was struck.

Divorced By Mistake: My Ex-wife Becomes a CEO

“Feels like more than just a first move. He’s already two steps ahead.” Sarah smiles slightly, a knowing look in her eyes. “Then maybe it’s time to take a page out of The Art of War,” she says, crossing her arms. “You know the quote, ‘If your enemy is superior, evade him. If angry, irritate him. If equally matched, fight, and if not, split and re-evaluate.’ Calvin made his move. Now it’s time to figure out how to hit him back strategically.”
