She walked to the bookshelf by the hearth and pulled down a slim pamphlet—one of many printed accounts of the early battles of the war. She flipped it open and traced a line with her finger. “Here,” she said. Thomas stepped closer. The text read clearly: General Warren fell at the onset of the engagement. Thomas nodded. “Yes.”

Xun smiled as she said that title. "Really? The things about the Barong tribe aren't in this book as you described. They are only briefly mentioned as part of the tribes that joined the way against monsters. It didn't mention that they were the reason, Tian Shen was enraged." Tsarayu asked as he looked towards that book. "Of course, in this book, you won't find it. You will find about their side of the story in their books." Xun said as she smiled. "He was pretty amazing in this battle, wasn't he?"Tsarayu said with a serious expression, imagining how it must have felt.

I browsed the shelves, and I read the titles. I paused in front of a book that I deemed the most interesting. I pulled it out of the shelf and stared at it, contemplating whether to get on with it or not. There were many books, including famous books from local and overseas, and even some on the art of war! Books like ‘Sun Tzu’s On The Art of War’，’Guiguzi’, and ‘Thirty-Six Stratagems’ were books Jian Jianan would not read. Jian Jianan chuckled seeing ‘Jane Eyre’.
