As the man regained his footing, Katrina pounced on him. She sank her teeth into his leg and tore, tearing through the flesh and muscle. Blood splattered everywhere, coating her muzzle and staining her fur. The man screeched in agony and struggled, trying to dislodge her paws from his calf. Katrina snapped her teeth even harder at his leg. Suddenly, the pressure released from his thigh and he fell to the ground, clutching at his injury. Katrina let him go and watched him collapse with satisfaction.

He requested with his right wing extracting dark claw from its edge. Catherine sluggishly staggered back on her feet "I don't know what you are talking about." She replied. "Wrong answer!" Tjandamurra cut in and his wing raced out but before it could get to her, the wing fell completely segregated from his back and he yelled in pain. Crimson fluids oozed down his back and he immediately went on one knee crying ceaselessly.

The creature’s fangs gleamed as it growled, ready to strike. A surge of adrenaline pulsed through Cathrine, and with a swift movement, she struck out, her hand connecting with the tiger’s side. The force of her blow sent it flying back, crashing into a nearby tree. The beast whimpered in pain, staggering back on unsteady legs before retreating slowly into the shadows. Kieran’s mouth fell open in shock, his mind reeling at what he had just witnessed. How was Cathrine this powerful? She had always been...ordinary. But this? His gaze flicked to Luca, who stood calmly, watching the entire scene with an almost knowing smile.

The smell hits me, and I grimace. "Audrey," I say in a warning tone, "that better not be—" "TEQUILA!" She yells and I groan. Tequila is the sure-fire way to get me both hammered and horny, and she damn well knows this. "Come on, Kat," she says in her sweetest voice, pouting at me then grinning at Dan. She passes Mark a glass. "Why are there five?" I ask her.

Celeste had left a bruise on her neck from choking her too hard. I clenched my teeth. I rushed over to Celeste and swiftly picked her up from the ground. There was this intense feeling inside me, a strong urge that I couldn't resist, and my claws elongated. "Please," Celeste pleaded and brushed her hair aside, revealing the marking bond around her neck. Seeing it made me refrain from immediately finishing her on the spot. My hand felt stiff and difficult to move. But I can't bear to see anyone harm Catrina. "No."

Agetha and my mother followed on his heels. Tate didn't cry. He didn't scream. He didn't make a single sound. He just disappeared into the night with his grandparents. My attention shot back to Rhyder and Meghan just as Rhyder reached her. He tackled her to the ground and the two of them tumbled head over heels in a whirl of limbs and fur and teeth. When they finally stopped rolling over each other, Meghan was also in her wolf form. Both of them were crouched down with their teeth showing and their claws digging into the ground. They snarled and snapped, circling each other. Both of them measuring the other, trying to guage their next move.

Kyle fell on the ground with blood oozing from his throat. I looked at Skylar who was having trouble as our father had Scarlett's tail in his mouth. I went to them and slashed the muscles of his back legs. He roared loudly in pain and Scarlett pulled her tail away. He turned around to attack me but Scarlett's right paw went through his chest. His heart fell on the ground. I stood up and smashed his heart right in front of his eyes before his soul flew down to hell, where he belonged. We both shifted back into our human form.

“If I’m wrong about her being shifterless, then how do I know she has the mark on her ass?” Kataya froze. There was no way he knew. He couldn’t have. “Don’t you touch me, Hiru!” Hiru ran up to her and pulled her pants down for everyone at school to see. She hurried to pull her skirt back up, only to show the sun birthmark just below the folds of her behind. Hiru laughed. “See! I told you, she’s shifterless! Ah, ha, ha.” Ari King stomped up to him and punched him right in the face. Kataya had hurried to straighten her skirt before running off to the bathroom. She wanted to escape the taunts and laughter she could hear all around her.

The simple nod was all she needed to continue and she, like the multitude of others around her, joined the fight for Trinity Mountains. Waverly growled and scowled at anyone who threatened her. She bit and threw numerous bodies that she had lost count; however, they just seemed to keep coming and attacking back. After knocking down another wolf, Waverly noticed Matteus standing directly over Katia with his paws on either side of her. His teeth were inches from her and from her spot, Waverly could see a giant gash across Katia's eye. Matteus leaned in closer and snarled loudly as he tilted his head back and opened his jaw.

“That’s it, bitch, come at me and show everyone here the wild cat behind that facade.” And immediately, Scarlett charged toward Luna, but before she got there, everyone let out a loud gasp at the sight before them.
