Mated To Valentine
I stare into the distance, my gaze drawn to the fountain just beyond the graves.
And then—I see him.
Achilles.
He stands there, grinning like he always did, hands stuffed in his pockets. His head tilts slightly, that knowing look in his eyes.
But he’s not alone.
Finn stands beside him.
They both wave.
I inhale sharply, my fingers curling into Valentine’s sleeve.
Valentine follows my gaze, going perfectly still.
Achilles smirks, gives a small salute, and then—he turns. Finn does too. They walk away, fading into the night, their figures dissolving into the darkness like mist.
