They all laugh as we walk into the pack house. Chloe pulled me aside as everyone walked in. I said, "Something wrong?" She said, "My wolf is saying Aidinth is my mate! What do I do?" I said, "I'm not sure. Do you want me to talk to his parents for you?" She nodded her head and I said, "Just try to be friends with him for today. Let's see where it goes. Okay?" She nodded. She said, "I have also seen that Brenna is going to be Nico's mate." I chuckled and said, "Even more reason for you all to be friends now."

She suggests standing from her sitting position and shifting back to her human form. “Damn it Chloe, you did that just to evade telling me anything further.” I tell myself. She stands there in all her glory with her goddess like body. I guess being a werewolf is not so bad when you can have kids and have a body like that. Chloe grabs her clothes she took off before she shifted and puts them back on, then turns to me. “Go find Maverick or you’re stuck like this” She declares, stepping beside me. She asked and we nodded. After she left, Caius heaved out loudly. "We should bathe and go see her." Owen nodded in agreement so we all agreed to meet up again in thirty minutes. As much as Luna Allison can comfort our wolf, Sophia's presence would be more beneficial for us. Our wolf recognizes Luna Allison but it is more loyal and submissive to Sophia. Alexios should be on his way already, he had said he is going to rush up and take a bath, so we would be joining the two.

I first stared them before I spoke. "Good morning everyone, I'm Chloe Scarlet Orianna, 24 years old. I'm new here so I'll be looking forward to work with you guys" I confidently introduce myself but no one seemed interested and yet they even look furious. I had only been hit with a spray of clear water; my face remained clean and sharp, merely damp. But Chloe was a disaster—dark red juice matted her hair and ran down the front of her expensive white furs, making her look more like a wounded animal than a high-bred wolf. "Continue your summit. I'm leaving." I wiped the moisture from my cheeks with a linen cloth and walked out of the vault without looking back.

I guess I was just distracted by the mystery surrounding Zara. The other wolves scattered. I ignored them and took one of the vacated bench seats. Chloe hesitated momentarily before taking her previous seat back when I nodded towards it. It was kind of funny when wolves tried to kneel at my feet or something, but I didn't want to waste more time. “You're Zara's sister, right?” I asked. “Yes, Alpha,” Chloe said, “Well, she's my half-sister. I'm a full-blood wolf, unlike her.”

I blurted out as I followed her to get cleaning supplies. She giggled. “And you don’t look like a hunter. But I don’t have a wolf.” Her mouth turned down, and she looked sad. “I am an omega. Without a wolf. So, basically, I am human, as far as the pack is concerned.” “Is that a bad thing?” I was human too.

I thought she was one of those weak she-wolves who couldn't speak properly. “And when did you have the right to talk back to me, you stinking thing?” Chloe roars, and storms toward Malicia. Her feet stop right in front of Malicia. Loki tries to interfere but I hold out my hand, stopping him from doing so. I wanted to see what Malicia could do. I need to be sure about her strengths, and weaknesses. I'm fully aware that if she goes into a physical battle with Chloe, Chloe will beat the hell out of her. Chloe is a mixed breed of Gamma’s blood and Beta’s blood. While Malicia is just a Delta Wolf.
