Then, without breaking eye contact, the mysterious stranger smiled and raised his glass in a silent toast. Lexi felt her cheeks flush as she smiled back, feeling a spark of electricity that seemed to arc between them like a live wire. As the night wore on, Lexi found herself drawn to the stranger again and again, their conversations flowing easily as they talked about art, music, and life. She learned that his name was Julian Blackwood, and that he was the host of the gala, as well as a renowned art collector.

"Thank you!" she smiled at the waiter whose eyeballs grew wide as saucers. "Oh my gosh! April..like the April Waje." she stuttered in disbelief almost choking on her saliva.

He looked down to the direction of the voice and stared at the little kid who made the suggestion—a little kid that looked so much like Zeth.

He brandished the thing that seemed to look like a chocolate bar in front of my face. I gave him a deadpanned look. 'Seriously, a chocolate bar? Death by cavities?' He was out of his marbles. What on earth could a chocolate do? He smirked. 'Look closely. It's not an ordinary chocolate.' I peered closely at the packaging. 'Chocolax.' I said. He nodded. 'It's a laxative in a form of a chocolate. Pretty much popular for girls who wanted to lose weight without feeling the guilt.' Now I'm confused. What was he planning about to do with the laxative? I frowned. 'Your point being?' I asked.

And naturally, Cole wanted to try everything. Ellery ordered a chocolate cone of green tea gelato, which they called Té Verde. Finally overcoming her greed-induced paralysis, Cole chose the stracciatella. In her opinion, the only thing better than chocolate or vanilla was when she could have them together. There might have been a moral lesson in there somewhere.
