The phone rang a few times before a warm, yet slightly weary voice answered, "Hello, Azraiel. It’s been a while." “Aunt Caitlyn,” Azraiel began, his tone a mix of urgency and respect, “I need your help. It’s about Charlotte’s pack and a connection I’ve discovered between the Blue Orchid Pack and the Black Onyx Pack.” There was a brief pause on the other end, the kind that signalled deep thought. “Go on,” Caitlyn prompted, her voice now tinged with curiosity.

“Gregory and my mate will meet us at the border.” I was cautious, following just a few strides behind. We were within the quadrants that Derek’s chosen men ran patrols, and he smelled just enough like a rogue that I figured we would be targeted. The fact that I felt no other presence made me worry he was actually working for Cold Moon and this was all an elaborate ruse. “I’m Chandler,” he told me as we walked. “Descending from one of the true lines of Wulvers. You’ll meet my mate soon, but she’s a rogue. That’s where you’re picking up on the smell from.”

he turns to Hell. “I need this building; I mean specially the rooftop. I can’t do it because my building's helipad is under contraction.” Hell said. “Damn, you’re kicking me out huh.” River said and just smiled at him. “I need something in return f*ckers----” “Kyla Williams.” Chaos said that made River stop and looked at him, he cleared his throat and looked away. “It’s fine, no need.” He said and turned his chair back. “Why don’t you talk to her?” Chaos asks.

I want River! RIVER! I blinked as I saw them in the crowd flanked by two men. One I recognized as Hale from my video chats with River and pics they’ve sent me of their new family. I don’t know who the pierced and very tatted-up guy next to River is, but all three are looking right at the rogue and me, and there is rage in their eyes.

"I'm Ryder, by the way. Ryder Cross." Rain Cross. The name sounds familiar, tickling the back of my brain like a half-remembered song. "Mariah Rivera." I pull my robe tighter around myself. "Welcome to the building. Fair warning, the walls are paper thin, and Mrs. Chen in 4C has opinions about noise after 10 PM." "Noted." He leans against his doorframe, and I catch a glimpse of his apartment behind him. Boxes everywhere, but what I can see looks expensive. Like, really expensive. "I'll try to keep the gear wrestling to a minimum."

Chloe’s POV Trevor grabbed Rachel by the arm and tossed her onto the sofa. "Hey, stop messing around." Messing around? What kind of joke involved another woman wearing my clothes and hooking her leg around my boyfriend? “Trevor, what’s the meaning of this!?” “Baby, she’s the childhood friend I told you about, Rachel Rain. "Sorry, I have to get back to work," Chantelle says apologetically. Delcan nods and says, "No problem. I understand. It was nice to meet you." Then he takes another sip of his coffee and starts to walk out of the coffee shop. As he passes by the counter, he says, "Have a great day, Chantelle." She smiles and says, "You too, Delcan." As Delcan leaves the coffee shop, he thinks

How the hell did you even convince Cortney?” “I know my tricks. I’m River Dawson.” I smirk. “And Cortney is just being… Cortney. I got into her head. The one thing I know about my sister is that she will defend Chan with everything she has. She hates seeing her get bullied and will do anything to stop it. That’s how I stepped in. I made Chan hot. I made the whole school see she is smashable.”

I want to spend the rest of my life with her, making her my wife one day. “Hey, Z! Look! That’s my new friend, Delilah, right there.” Her angelic voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked up and so did Jason and Erica. River was waving her hand up, signaling a girl with short blonde hair to come over to us. As she got closer, I couldn’t help but notice she was pretty. She looked a little like Lili Reinhart with light brown eyes. She was less curvier than River but had a nice figure.
