Rosie's Bloom

Rosie's Bloom

“Why do I have to pick? Clara and I are supposed to merge. I know that. She knows that. Ares knows ” Her eyes flash. “You do not understand the merge. Not yet.” “Explain it,” I beg. Her voice turns faint, fading. “You can merge with Clara… or you can merge with me… but not both.” The ground cracks beneath us. Light bursts upward around my feet. My half-born divinity reaches out her hand one last time. “Choose, Aria. Before the world chooses for you.” Ares POV “Aria!” Her scream cuts off. Her body goes limp in my arms

PROPHECY OF THE LAST LUPINE

PROPHECY OF THE LAST LUPINE

I remained that way in tears, as I wondered what I had done wrong to deserve this kind of life. "We all know why we are here..." The voice of the MC, began. "These goods are the best you've ever seen. As part of our diversity campaign, we brought diverse beings for you to choose from. Lupines, hybrids, werewolves, witches, vampires... Just name it..." The energy in the hall disgusted me. I felt sad that I had to go through all of this. If not for Shane's ruthless rejection, I wouldn't have been paraded here, as an incomplete wolf.

The Unchosen Mate

The Unchosen Mate

The crowd is growing thicker now as we have reached the Sanctuary grounds. “First, lower your voice.” Lo points in the direction of a temporary stage that has been erected at a far burial site. As high pack members, we will be elevated in the ceremony just like we were at the Challenger welcome. I follow her. Absently, I swivel my head trying to catch sight of Kira. I can’t seem to find her. Maybe she’s running late after all. “Second,” she continues, weaving her way through the crowd and speaking over her shoulder, “Whether you like it or not, Jaz is going to have to choose between you and being an Ascended. Have you ever talked about it?”

I don't care about the dragging. the book is good overall. just need consistent updates even if it's only 3 times a week. would like to hear from the author from time to time. My question is, will there be another book? I need to know everything that's missing and where everyone will end up. thanks
DCC
I started reading this book and I realized this is just book one and the main characters end up together towards the end. Can someone please confirm if the male lead will only have steamy scenes with Jaz and will show her devotion and love for most of this book?

INSTINCTLESS: A Scentless Bloodline

INSTINCTLESS: A Scentless Bloodline

"You mean... mate ceremony?" "Not a mate bond," he said quickly. "A choice ceremony. A public declaration that we choose each other. No magic. No fate. Just two people saying 'this is my person.'" My heart swelled. "You want to do that?" "I want to shout it from the mountains," he said. "But a ceremony will do." I laughed and kissed him. "Yes. Yes, I'll do a ceremony with you." The ceremony was simple but beautiful. The whole pack gathered in the forest clearing where we had first fought the Conclave. It felt right turning a place of fear into a place of joy.

Désiré Me 2

Désiré Me 2

Their chests rise, a terrible and humiliating hope in their eyes. —I'm staying. Not because you’re holding me. But because I choose to. For now. I return to the couch, I pick up the key. I grip it in my closed fist. —But remember this night. Remember that every morning I wake up beside you will be a choice. My choice. I leave the room, leaving them in the darkness they created themselves. The ceremony is over. The bird remains in its cage, not because the door is closed, but because it has decided, for the first time, not to fly away.

Alpha's Dilemma : Claiming My Golden Wolf Luna

Alpha's Dilemma : Claiming My Golden Wolf Luna

"We both know you never intended to choose me, Darryl. All your little plans, your attempts to protect her while keeping your position – they've failed. So now we do this my way." As if on cue, I caught the first whiffs of smoke – thick, purple-tinged, and laced with wolfsbane. "Fuck," I whispered, my enhanced hearing picking up Hazel's coughs from upstairs. "The ceremony requires two parts," Katrina announced, her voice carrying through the room. "First, you must reject your true mate. Then, you must choose me. Simple, really. The longer you hesitate, the more that smoke fills her lungs." The ancient words of rejection rose in my mind, words I'd never thought I'd speak. Shadow thrashed insi

Her Wolf King

Her Wolf King

Judging. Dawn stood before them. Before everyone. Before all witnesses. "I am Dawn. I was the First Dark. I chose existence. I became something. I loved. I connected. I mattered. And now I choose to end. Choose to die. Choose to sacrifice. Not because existence is terrible. Because existence is valuable. Not because something is painful. Because something is meaningful. Not because love hurts. Because love is worth dying for. My death proves this. My sacrifice demonstrates this. My ending shows this. Watch me. Feel me. Understand me. I die willingly. I die gladly. I die lovingly. Because existence is worth dying to protect. Because love is worth sacrificing to prove. Because meaning is worth

Rejected by the lycan king

Rejected by the lycan king

“You already have.” “No. I want it to be chosen. Passed not through destiny, or lineage, or magic. But through consent.” I said nothing. She smiled. “I don’t want another me. I want another someone whoever they are to carry this only when they want to.” And I knew then: The Flame was no longer the center. It was the beginning of a conversation. 8. The Ceremony of the Becoming Flame We gathered at moonrise. Hundreds in the Spiral Grove. Thousands across Duskfall.

Daddy's Little Secret

Daddy's Little Secret

I looked at the crowd again. At the stillness, the attention and the expectation. “They’re waiting,” I said. “For what?” Zara asked. I met Melissa’s eyes. “For us to decide.” The voice confirmed it. “Divergence requires selection.” Leila exhaled slowly. “So we pick.” Amina’s voice was tight. “And that choice defines everything that comes next.” No pressure. Zara let out a dry laugh. “Yeah, no big deal.” Melissa stepped forward. Just one step, the crowd reacted instantly.
