I asked in surprise. “Yea, her mom, Layla, she brought Christmas here without nothing–I mean she got in a car accident and lost her memories. That is what Layla told me as she enrolled her here so we can adjust for her,” she replied that made stunned, “This is the newspaper where Christmas putted in the headline because she was hit by a truck,” she gave me the newspaper that she took inside the drawer box of her desk, “I'm glad that she survived that but the saddest part is she lost her memories.”

The downtown area was similar to a lot of the towns Dak had visited recently, looking for the perfect place to start his new endeavor, but there was something slightly different about Christmas Falls, something special he couldn’t quite put his finger on. The Christmas decorations hanging from the lamp posts and strung around the trees were the same white lights, red bows, garland, and cartoony characters as everywhere else, seasonal flowers blooming from the flower beds while banners announced where he was and that he was welcome there, but an excitement seemed to hang in the air that he could only describe as a certain kind of Christmas magic he couldn’t ever remember encountering before.

Another firework burst into light in the sky, Scarlett turned to Chuck and said, “To our lousy Christmas.” “And a crappy new year.” Chuck held Scarlett’s shoulders and looked at her seriously. “You know… maybe I wouldn’t mind spending my life with you after all…” Scarlett looked up at him and said, “You know, I think I finally figured out why every romantic scene in the movies happens when there are fireworks around. In the movies, everyone’s always kissing each other and falling in love with fireworks in the background...” She trailed off. “But that magic isn’t really doing anything for me. Oops!”

The hole in my heart not filled and never would be. "Christmas was always my parents favorite holiday. They would go all out, and I mean ALL out. We'd spend the entire week watching Christmas movies, making homemade cookies, making gingerbread houses, stuff like that. My dad was the life of Christmas." I found myself smiling at the memories, tears appearing in my eyes.

"Come on out when you're ready. It's only Christmas once a year." Taren chuckled without humor. "You're forgetting that we live in the Christmas capital of the United States, where it's Christmas three hundred sixty-five days a year." "You know what I mean." Bret stood and stopped at the door. "Erica's cookies are ready. You'd better come out and get one before they're all gone." Taren scoffed. "And you didn't bring me one? What's wrong with you?" he teased, rising from his seat. "Well, it looks like I'd better get one before you heathens eat them all."

If he thought something was off with Jason, he wouldn't be wrong at all. "Wanna sit down and watch this Christmas movie with us?" Jamie asked all cuddled up by Damien's side. "Which movie?" Ty asked. "We just put in Deck the Halls, It's not a classic, but it's funny." I answered with a slight smile. "Yeah, I remember us going to see that at the movie's when it first came out." He chuckled then came and sat down on the couch me and Jason were leaning on. He plopped down right next to Carrie and Matt and settled in for the movie.

Trick "Mom, are you sure it's okay for us to break tradition?" Riley asks, her eyes wide as she gazes at the Christmas tree box sitting in my apartment. "What's normal tradition?" I ask, opening the box up with my knife. Hadley smiles at her daughter. "Normally we wait until December 10th, we put on A Christmas Story, and we decorate while watching the movie play over and over again." "It's only a few days before the tenth," I look at my phone. "Today's the fifth, and if you want to watch the movie, I'm sure it's on Netflix. Why don't you go look, Sprite."

“There’s so much I want to do. I made a list of little holiday dates we can go on.” “That doesn’t surprise me,” Nikolai murmurs against the skin of Akio’s neck, before he starts pressing feather-light kisses against it. Akio squirms slightly with a giggle, and he feels Nikolai’s lips curl into a smirk. “Do you want to hear what they are?” Akio, knowing Nikolai would never say no, launches right into them. “We could have a Christmas movie marathon, for starters. I also really, really want to see The Nutcracker at the Seoul Arts Center. And there are also a bunch of Christmas concerts going on in December that will be so nice to attend.”

' Ford asks as he pushes the buttons of the remote when Dallas comes back into the living room and takes place next to him on the couch. 'Sure, fine by me,' he nods. 'It's Halloween after all. A Christmas movie would've been inappropriate.' Ford chuckles. 'Don't dare me.' 'I won't. So let's not do that. Christmas movies are meant to watch after Halloween and -' 'Yeah, yeah, fine,' Ford interrupts him quickly with a light chuckle before he'll get another lecture on the timing of Christmas movies and decorations again. He didn’t expect to get a lecture about that from him. Not that he listens, he secretly watched a Christmas movie last week with Jay, but he's not going to mention that right no
