Christmas Story Movies Novels & Stories

On Christmas Eve, I finally dragged myself out to beg for food. The giant screen outside the mall was blasting headlines about Leon and Chloe. Apparently, to welcome Chloe to the family estate, Leon had dropped a ridiculous amount of money lighting up the entire city. Everything would go off at midnight. Under the screen, a kind shop owner handed me a bread roll. I scarfed it down, thanking him again and again. Didn't matter that I stayed tucked in a corner. Security still came over and chased me off. Night fell. My whole body shook as the last bit of warmth drained out of me.

Jennifer chuckled and retorted mockingly, "CEO? Do you really think she became CEO through her own abilities? Without Jeremiah and me backing her up, she's just a useless loser." Charles looked at Jennifer in disbelief. His eyes were filled with shock and anger. Annoyed by the noise, I told the bodyguards to drag the two of them farther away. I crouched alone by the seaside. The winter wind blowing from the ocean was icy and piercing. Little by little, I scattered Noelle's ashes into the sea. I said softly, "Today is Christmas, Noelle. It's also the day you were born. I'm letting you return to the ocean."

He was hiding something tonight. I could feel it. “What do you want for Christmas?” he asked suddenly. I blinked. “What?” “If you could have anything.” The question caught me off guard. I should’ve said something normal. A vacation. A better apartment. Freedom from this double life. Instead the words slipped out before I could stop them. “I want Santa to personally pay me a visit.” Silence filled the room. Then his laugh came through the speakers low and dark enough to make my stomach flip. “So needy tonight.”

On Christmas Eve, my mother sent a long gift list to our family group chat. It had everything from sports cars to diamond necklaces. I was full of anticipation, but when the gifts were finally handed out, I realized the sports car was for my brother, Luca. The rest—the diamonds, the Hermès bags—were all for Mia. Mia was our family’s adopted daughter. Her father used to work for my Papa and took a bullet for him. Because of that, the Sterling family had raised Mia as their own flesh and blood for ten years. Not a single gift was for me. When I asked my mother about it, she stated the obvious: "Julian is your fiancé. He’ll have something prepared for you." "Mia is so pitiful for losing her fat

I was happy that Damien was here too. I looked at my phone and decided that it was time for me to watch Christmas movies. I always watch the 24 hour marathon of the movie "The Christmas Story." It was my favorite. Wasn't nothing gone keep me off my couch with a bowl of popcorn. I could watch it all day and night. I never got tired of it.

“What are you doing?” “Not much,” I admitted. “Just watching some Christmas movie about some girl who’s too dumb to realize her fiancé is a jerk and that she should really be with the handsome stranger she just bumped into a few days before Christmas.” “OMG! I think I’ve seen that one. Is it on the Hallmark Channel?” “Lucy, that’s the plot of every Christmas movie on the Hallmark Channel. The only difference is that sometimes the lady is in marketing, sometimes she owns an antique store, and once or twice she was a teacher.”

He kissed her again and then, with Goldie and Pooch yipping and yapping beneath the Christmas tree, Noelle reached over and patted them on the heads, so thankful for her beautiful family, knowing whatever Christmas future may bring, she’d be happy as long as she had Brady, Goldie, and Pooch. The End

I said happily. "Your wish, always my command," he murmured. This was probably one of the most normal things Zach and I would do! It was also one of my dreams to watch a movie with the man I love beside me. Hay, What a romantic Christmas. It's just the beginning but the I've been getting more than I'd imagined! Would you believe that he didn't push me away when I told him I love you? I got lucky me. Very. Really. After we went down, I bought a cd to watch. The title was Indecent Proposal. It sounded so interesting so I placed it right away. We also didn't turn on the light for effect.

I've had to pause the movie so many times to answer his questions that it's becoming a bit frustrating. I stopped what I was doing because... I didn't want him or myself to miss anything. I should start at Nakatomi Plaza. Second, his wife works there, and her boss invited him to the Christmas party. I turn on the TV again. "How many are there again?" "Five. The first three were written in the 1980s and early 1990s, and the last two were written in the 2000s." I return to watching TV. "I don't get why this movie is about Christmas."
