Chronicles Of Arcadia Romane & Geschichten

Death had become a safe haven for those who fought and life had become a cage for those doomed to repeat it. The putrid battle began with death, the foul and rotten death of a young woman named Lilly. Her life was a salvation and a ray of hope for one young immortal, the one who began pure but became dark. His heart blackened by the pain of loss, his soul darkening with hatred of the one responsible. The head off all gods was not what the creator had intended, his power and will darkening from greed. Chronos was the head off all life and all death, he and his kin destined to rule all and preserve all. But this was not the case, Chronos’ heart blackened and his spirit turned sour. He was neit

Pack chroniclers. “Aria,” the woman began, her voice respectfully low. “We’re from the Pack Chronicles. There are… rumors. That your family forced you into a procedure to obtain cord blood for your stepsister, Elara.” She activated the sphere. A soft light projected images onto the wall—public postings on the main pack link network. My name was everywhere. ‘Alpha’s family commits atrocity for favored she-wolf!’ ‘Healer mother performs brutal surgery on own daughter!’ The comments scrolled.

Clarissa shook her head, “Someone has to watch out for my dignity.” Arcadia laughed. She stood next to Clarissa and whispered. “I love when Stefan has a new quest. He gets so excited! He just tosses out his coin. Doesn’t even ask for the change at the end.” Clarissa had a look of confusion on her face as she turned toward Arcadia. “You mean he handed out his coin to us because he is excited about this trip?” Arcadia looked shocked at Clarissa’s sharp tone. “It’s not like he’s excited about your parents dying. That's not what I meant!”

He didn't turn around, but he reached back to find my hand, threading his fingers through mine. "They don't have anything weighing them down," I noted. Leo squeezed my hand. "Neither do we. Not anymore." I spent the afternoon in the Great Library, not with Zara and her tales of the "Before," but in the deep archives with Sofia. We were working on the *Chronicle of the Transition*—the official record of the ten million years it took for humanity to move from a species of conquest to a species of cultivation.

When it spoke, its voice carried the weight of eons. "Selene of the Eclipse Covenant," it announced formally. "I am Chronicle, Keeper of Supernatural Records. We have come to evaluate what you have created here." "Evaluate for what purpose?" I asked, stepping forward to meet them at the base of the temple steps. "To determine whether your confederation represents evolution or dangerous deviation from established supernatural law." Chronicle's crystalline features shifted to reflect moments from what I recognized as Eclipse Covenant history some showing cooperation and healing, others revealing the forced unity that had led to their destruction.

I want you…I bit my lip, the taste of sin and lust driving me insane. The isolation gnawed at me, so I slipped away to the balcony for fresh air. The night sky stretched above me, jeweled with stars but no moon. The breeze kissed my skin, and I closed my eyes, soaking in the peace until it shattered at the touch of a rough hand on my bare back. “What the hell!” I spun, panic flaring, only to see a pot-bellied man with a greasy smile. Recognition hit me like bile. Caleb. Beatrice’s nerdy brother from high school, now aged and foul.

Galan’s face turned ever more serious, and he closed his eyes, concentrating on his words as he spoke, relating to us the tale that would haunt me and my dreams for years to come. “Long ago in the time of the ancients when the gods and goddesses were still honored and feared lived a king in the province of the Greek occupied lands. Arcadia, as it was called, was ruled by a cruel and ruthless king. King Lycaon lived in a grand palace filled with treasures he had acquired through his ruthless and cruel ways.

We lost one beta that day, while their pack lost their Alpha, and seven betas. That woman our Alpha fought for is Olive, my mentor, and our beloved pack healer. Her daughter Lilac married an Ironclaw and had two cubs, Winter and Clay. Winter found her mate several years ago and is pregnant with her first cub. Hollis and Leif are two others adopted into the pack after a rough start in life. This pack at least, finds a place for everyone. Well, everyone but a human like me it seems.

This made him abandoned the bowl of desert on the table and joined the rest, in the sitting room. " Um...", Mr. White called back the attention of all. " As it is usually done, leap years are years in which the young members of the pack celebrate the ' rituals of the Arcadians ', which is on held on fifteenth of this month, August, and........

“Young man, the world is filled with opportunities, but one shouldn’t venture into conmanship. I shall give you a word of advice since you’re so young. It’s not too late to turn back! It’s never too late!” Javier smirked upon hearing what Uri had said. He had not exposed the man for rapping during the ritual, but now the man was accusing him of being a conman instead? He asked, “Master, which generation of hierophants do you belong to in the Arcadian Order?” Uri answered seriously, “I’m Uri Copeland, the 86th Hierophant of the Arcadian Order!” Javier snorted. “There’s only a total of 64 generations in the Arcadian Order to date. Where did the 86th come from?”
