A chuckle escaped me when Koda copied him immediately with a proud smile. “Can you buy me carrots, then?” Koda asked after relaxing and resuming his play with the yo-yo with puppy eyes on full display. “What for?” Chase inquired. “For eating,” he grinned innocently. “So, you’re the reason why our carrot stock ran out earlier than usual, huh?” Chase huffed with wide eyes. “Sorry,” Koda grinned again. “Okay, I’ll buy you carrots,” Chase patted his head, “We will get going then.
