There was no name attached to it. Just an unknown number. I opened it. For a second, I didn't understand what I was looking at. Then my stomach dropped. It was a photograph. My fingers went cold.

Clarissa's P.O.V Sleep--- What is sleep? It was something I knew nothing of, at least not without pestilent dreams. However, there was something about dark chocolate that seemed to settle the pallet well. I could not deny that I was addicted. Rotating the square piece of chocolate in my hand, I gazed at it with a soft smile on my face. Intense Dark Chocolate- 72% cocoa. My mouth watered, reading the label, but my blue eyes gazed towards the café door, chiming as it opened, pulling me out of my satisfaction.

Sliding up the side of the shack as he cradled his pained shoulder. “More fine, now.” Magus had stepped back from the structure, facing it as he crossed his forearms before him. Gasped Justin as he snatched his hand away. “It’s ok Justin. You are one of us.” Growled Thomas as he dusted himself off. “Justin has anything strange happen to you lately?” Asked Sage. “You mean other than my partner and his girlfriend showing me that they can-do real-life Harry Potter kind of magic? The answer would be no.” Chuckled Justin as he fidgeted in one spot. He didn’t like the feeling of being crowded. Megan knew that he didn’t understand what was going on, so she tried another route to get him to open a bit more.

“What are you actually doing here? You can’t be here for a social chat. I mean, you’ve got people you actually like in your pack.” “Yeah. Well, it’s been a little tense lately.” “Silas.” I looked up at him, taking a drag of the cigarette. “Get to the damn point. I have a mate who needs me.” Chuckling, I shook my head. “I had a question about magic.” His eyebrow rose, and he turned to me fully, tapping the ash off his cigarette. “Magic? Like Solaris’ magic or…” “Something else.” “I don’t know if I can help you. I’m pretty limited in what I know. Everything I know is through Sol or Lor. Bruce asks me. I shake my head. "I could use a ride if you don't mind. I am not sure I am ready to drive today," I say. I know I am not ready to drive. "I can take you, but first, I have to tell you something. I made some calls while you were sorting through some things. I wanted to give you some space. I found both of your uncles. They own a little magic shop in New Orleans. It is called Elemental Magic," Bruce says.

He whispered into his ear but to Alexander, it was as if someone was speaking into his mind. "Alexander, rise up and stand like the great man that you are," Nomar whispered, his voice booming in Alexander's mind. Alexander was not his charge so he could interfere in his affairs. He had used one of his magic abilities to send his voice into Alexander's mind. He was only doing it to help Beatrice because he knew that if Alexander was strong, he would make Beatrice strong too.
