If I die, you’ll end up in prison too!” I ignored him, raising the baton high above my head. Faced with death, his eyes squeezed shut, and his cheeks twitched nervously. With all my strength, I swung down. Thud! The violent crash echoed through the warehouse. The baton shattered in front of me, and Jasper stared blankly at the splintered remains lying next to his head. His body twitched once, and then—humiliatingly—he wet himself.

Jeff was unequivocally ousted from the Cunningham family. Initially, he sobbed and pleaded, desperate to stir Thomas's and Alice's sympathy. However, when they remained indifferent, preoccupied with finding my whereabouts, he erupted in rage. Ricky chuckled in front of me and brushed his gold hair backwards as he heaved a sigh.
