As Jace’s hand rested on my shoulder, my eyes inadvertently drifted to his wedding band. It was a 6mm platinum band, understated yet elegant. The matte finish almost blended seamlessly with his skin, with a thin black titanium inlay running through the center. I hadn’t really noticed it before—not consciously, at least.
