Two were missing. I pulled the sticky neckline of my shirt away from my body and looked down. Damnit. This was my only shirt. They stood in a circle as they thought about my riddle. I mentally chuckled. I present to you the high priests and priestesses of Grove of the Perpetual Oaks, everyone. An assembled group of inbred idiots who thought they were the top of the evolutionary chain. Thank the stars they were dumber than a basket of wet hair. I saw some cutouts with headholes where visitors could pose for pictures. We took our time enjoying and exploring each attraction. The circus we visited had a show that lasted less than an hour. It featured trained animals performing tricks, a contortionist, and an athletic duo performing thrilling stunts for the average person. I couldn’t stop clapping, amazed at the cooperation between the animals and their trainers, who used simple cues like finger snaps, claps, and firm commands. "Richard would probably enjoy coming here." Watching the performance reminded me of my son and his pet robot. He could find some new inspiration from these shows.
