Claimed By My Ex's Lycan King Father Novels & Stories

my mother said. "Okay, sweetheart, you should rest now. Your injuries are severe, and you need to recover quickly so we can start training when you’re better," my father said. They both tucked me into bed, then turned to leave. Just as my father reached for the door, I stopped him. They turned back, puzzled. "Father, are you really sure I can be the Lycan Queen?" He smiled confidently. "Of course! You will be the greatest of all kings and queens."

I was about to stand up to let him think about whatever it was when he squeezed my waist, pulling me back into his lap. “Hey,” he sweetly called, angling my shoulders to face him. “Something’s bothering you,” I admitted, placing my hands on top of his chest. Letting out a deep sigh, he confirmed, “You are well aware now that Dad is the Lycan King, right?” Wiggling my brows, I nodded. “Well, I wanted you to understand that, as the Lycan King, he’s not used to being defeated. Although we didn’t lose the first battle against the Eclipse Pack, for him, not bringing victory is just the same as being the loser.”

A stack of papers with women’s pictures, names, and information lay within the folder. When I don’t move to accept their “gift,” my father frowns at me. “To become the Lycan King, you must have a strong Luna at your side, and these ten are the best we could find. Your mother spent hours checking on their backgrounds, breeding, and abilities,” he informs me, and I can’t help but feel a sliver of disgust when he says breeding. Like they’re some sort of cattle to be traded. Without waiting for a response, he closes the file, stands, and puts it in my hand.

“I was just about to get dinner.” “Yeah. I’m sorry. I have some questions.” “Well, you can ask them kitten, but I can’t promise I’ll answer.” “You were a Lycan prince?” “Fucking Felicity,” he mumbles. “Yes. My father was the king of the Lycans. Which makes us family, kitty-cat. Sort of.” “How the hell is that possible?” “Well, you are the next queen, aren’t you?” "I am?" "You are married to the king. That's how it works." He crouches in front of me. “Do you know how Lycans are made?”

I'd met him during a medical outreach at another Pack in the central region. At the time, my father had just been made the Lycan king’s Hamit-Beta, a rank that takes away my right to choose my own life partner. Being the daughter of the Lycan King’s Hamit-Beta means I can only be married off to royalty. And he must be of my father or the Lycan king’s choosing. And when my father made the first statement that there is a possibility that I might be getting married to my childhood friend, Allister Blackwaters, I ran…

The media was so focused on Amber and Tyler’s work that they hadn’t even caught wind of our marriage yet. I realized my father must’ve known how easy it would be to hide our marriage from the Lycan King. And, hearing Valen speak about Tyler, a cold sweat trickled down my back at the thought of him finding out about my husband. He may have said he didn’t want me, that it was his wolf who needed me, but he was still the cruel tyrant who had killed many of his subjects. He may not want me for himself, but that didn’t mean he would accept me giving myself to another male.

Maverick scoffed at her question. Mya rolled her eyes at him. "Calm down, Maverick. She's not the cause of your bitterness." With a sweet smile plastered on her face, she turned back to Cinnia. "Denzel is our Lycan King. The blood demons are the ones to be terrified at what he'll do to them." Cinnia's tense shoulders relaxed and she breathed out a sigh. "Are you happy, Cinnia Ramilek?" Maverick asked, his stare boring into her soul through the rearview mirror.

It was such an odd request which is why my father told me exactly that – “for the betterment of my kingdom, everything must be done. Even if I have to go fishing.” Now it’s just become an order of some sort. A life sentence for the Lycan King of Europe – me. “You’ll do wonderful, son.” My mother, the former Queen, gives me her kind words and a soft smile. She was never the talking type, always soft spoken, but with her few words, she already knew how to make me feel motivated.

I thought that I had a good grasp on the kind of person that he was but I could see now that I was wrong. I did not know anything about him. "I did not kill Camilla and I did not kill your father. You have to believe me, please!" Alex pleaded with me.. "Lies! Do you think that I don't know?? We already confirmed that you are the Lycan king. My father is already dead! He's dead as we speak!" I yelled at him.

He retorted once again, but I stood transfixed to a spot with my mouth hung wide agape. “Leave? That's all you intend to say? How shameless can you really be? You irritate me down to the core erebus.” I retorted, clenching my fists. I could feel my blood boiling at an insane range; it was killing me way too much to listen to whatever crappy words the bastard had said, but I had not expected him to yell at me for any reason. “Yes. Leave. Stop acting like we are lovers. I married you only because I need an excuse; you don't get to pass out orders for me, and it seems you have forgotten your place in this pack. I am the Lycan King , and you tried to steal from me!”
