Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. Opening the door, Christiana stood in front of her. "I forgot my handbag and umbrella at your house." "So sorry for the inconvenience." Her voice was laced with remorse. Her heart was pounding erratically in her chest, her stomach twisting and turning at the thought of what she was about to do.

The blade glinted with a faint blue light, and Clara’s heart tightened. She couldn’t do it alone. She couldn’t do this without the others. But she had no choice. “This isn’t the end, Emily,” Clara said softly, her voice steady despite the storm raging inside her. “I’ll stop this.
