Chantelle POV As Delcan asked me what was wrong, I tried to stay strong, but the emotions welled up inside me and I felt the tears begin to fall. I turned away, not wanting him to see me cry, but it was too late. He reached out to me, but I pulled away. "I'm sorry," I said, my voice breaking. "I just need to be alone." I turned and walked away, leaving him standing there, speechless. I hurried home, my heart pounding. As I approached the door, I could hear my uncle's angry voice. My uncle's voice calling out, "Where have you been? You weren't supposed to go out!" He sounded angry, and I knew I was in trouble. I braced myself as I opened the door, but what I saw next left me frozen in shock.

"I need to get to class." Caleb didn't move. Instead, he leaned against the doorframe, a disgusting, mocking smirk spreading across his face. "Oh, look boys, it’s the star of the show," Caleb loudly announced, making sure half the hallway could hear him. The guys around him chuckled darkly. He leaned in a little closer, his eyes raking over me with a look that made me want to scrub my skin with boiling water. "Hey, Nicole. We were all just talking about that little incident. Quite a reputation you’re building for yourself. So, tell us... how much for a night? What’s your rate?"

Then she pushed it away. "You have some." Her voice twinkled softly while she pushed it towards her mom. I couldn't help the tears that glistened my eyes. I glanced at Eli to find him studying the two of them with saddened eyes as well. "And what is your name, little lady?" I asked with a smile. She finally turned to us, dimples popping around her smile. "Ivy." She said with shiny eyes. "What a beautiful name," "Thank you..." she trailed off. "My name is Nicole, but you can call me Nikki." She nodded.

She reached out, gingerly touched the warm metal. “Careful,” Andrei’s tone was sharp, but then he smiled apologetically. “No, sorry! Girls can shoot, too, I know. She swung her legs over the edge of the sofa and stood up.

The crows feet under her eyes picked up with her grin and her olive skin creased in the corners of her mouth. Her short brown hair was styled in a pixie cut along with a pair of chic eyeglasses. Charles was sitting on another couch watching television. "I'll leave by 7 PM", Nicole said as she made her way down the passageway of her apartment to her bedroom. She had gone there to freshen up and change her clothes. The time was now 6: 45 PM, as Nicole finally emerged from her bedroom, fully dressed in a black spandex pants and a black crop top. She had a black face cap on and a black sunshade. "Wow!"Angela gushed, as her best friend looked stunning as she stepped into the living room.

Ellen said. Nicole remained silent for a while, closing her eyes for a second before opening them. “Okay, one last time," Nicole muttered. Ellen didn’t bother to respond as she ended the call without saying a word. “B*tch,” Nicole cursed under her breath as she turned off the tap. She cleaned her hands and checked her hair before stepping out of the restroom. She pulled her lips into a broad smile as she headed back to the hall.
